It is going to be a busy summer with lots of options to keep you and your dog busy...

We will be offering the following classes starting early January in Camberwell. The classes all run over 5 weeks.

Saturday mornings:
- Beginner scent work
- Intermediate/advanced scent work
- Rally beginner class

Monday evening
Rally trial class

One more advanced scent work class is likely to run either Sunday late afternoon or Tuesday evening

RALLY BEGINNER CLASSES WITH A FEW TRICKS - SATURDAY MORNINGS STARTING 7th OCTOBER IN CAMBERWELL (5 SESSIONS OVER 7 WEEKS)
Rally can be described as obedience 'the fun way' as dogs generally love it. A rally course consists of 10-20 stations and at each station you perform an obedience exercise.....and a lot of the exercises have a fun element to them. The rally class will strengthen all areas of your dogs obedience and in the beginning all exercises are performed on lead.
To make the classes even more fun we will also teach you some tricks which form part of the Trick Dog trials that ANKC offers
The groups are small with maximum 8 dogs in each.

This season's last tracking course starts Saturday 26th August at 11AM and comprises of 4 sessions. This class will suit both beginners and more advanced dogs.

We also have one spot available in the Friday 9.30AM class, starting tomorrow. Priority to this course will be given to dogs with tracking experience but even if you don't have any please contact us and we can discuss....

At the recent Victorian Rally state trial On Track Dog Training had 5 teams competing and what amazing results were achieved...

Alexandra and Peppina got a score of 100 and first place in Novice -and title

Emma and Fergus got a score of 98 and a second place in Novice - and title

Ashleigh and Khaos got a score of 95 in Novice - and title

Alex and Arlo got a score of 100 in Advanced, first place and Highest Scoring in Trial (PM) - and title

I am so extremely proud of each and every of these teams, the effort they have put in and the amazing results to show for it!!

Do you know most of the rally novice signs? Can you work a simple rally course?
Are you thinking of trialing in rally but feel that you need a little bit more experience before you go in the ring? Learn a bit of ring craft? Maybe a bit of help with making sure that your dog will work without food? Or getting a clear understanding of what you can and can't do in the ring? Or maybe you are already trialing in Rally and just want some more practice?
If the above sounds like you we have got the course for you. The Rally trial class runs on MONDAY NIGHTS @ 7PM and now also on SATURDAY mornings @ 9.15AM in CAMBERWELL
The Monday class starts 29th May and has one spot available. The Saturday class har currently a couple of spots available and training starts Saturday 10th June and comprises of 5 sessions. Please contact us for more details.

So excited to announce that the first tracking classes of the season have now been scheduled as per below. Please contact us on [email protected] for more info and to register....

• Tuesday 9th May and running over 4 consecutive weeks. The sessions will run from 9.30AM-11.30AM (Priority to this course will be given to dogs with NO tracking experience)
• Saturday 2nd May, including 4 sessions over 5 weeks. There is no training on 20th May 2023. The sessions will run from 9.30AM-11.30AM (Priority to this course will be given to dogs with NO tracking experience)
• Friday 5th May and running over 5 consecutive weeks . The sessions will run from 9.30AM-11.30AM. (Priority to this course will be given to dogs with tracking experience)
• Sunday 7th May and running over 5 consecutive weeks . The course time may vary slightly each week but will be a 2hr slot between 8AM-11.30AM. (Priority to this course will be given to dogs with tracking experience)

A few weeks ago On Track Dog Training ran the annual presentation get together, presenting trophies and certificates for superior achievements in 2022.

It was a wonderful afternoon with lots of fun and games.

On Track Dog training clients gained a total of 27 titles in 2022. The Tracking Dog title was the one most often awarded with a total of 9 dogs gaining this award.

Other titles gained included TDX, TSD, Tch, RN, RA, RE and TKS so quite a mixed bag.

We have so many talented dogs and dedicated owners training with us and we thoroughly enjoy making dreams come true.
