Sometimes you just can’t take your dog with you when you go out on a Sunday… Howlers to the rescue!

From Sunday 23rd February we will be OPEN FOR DAYCARE!

Yes 🙌🏼 that’s right. You can now bring your dog to daycare on Sundays. Half days only between 10am and 3pm.

Just a reminder that we also do Saturdays from 9am to 4pm.

Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️

Yesterday we tried a different type of photo shoot with our valentine dogs. Our original idea was to do the wrapping paper challenge - it didn’t quite work out as planned! It’s harder than it looked..

I do think these look better though and are super cute! We’re in the process of printing them all out and those photographed will receive a copy on their next visit.

Hazel is 9️⃣

Today we celebrate the ninth birthday of one of my Chinese Crested Dogs - Hazel.

It’s fate she was born on Valentines Day. Hazel is sweet, happy, confident and gives the best hugs. We love her to bits!

FAMOUS HOWLERS 🤩

So many of our little howlers have parents doing amazing things. This week we’re sharing the love for Texas’ Mum Celia - known professionally as Vera Blue

Celia is an Australian singer-songwriter and is signed with Island Records Australia, which is part of Universal Music. Multitalented, Celia sings, plays the guitar and also the violin! (WOW)

During the 2013 season of The Voice Australia, Celia auditioned while playing the guitar and received acclaim from the judges and audience. Her first audition clip of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Scarborough Fair / Canticle” has amassed over 14 million views online. She joined team Delta and placed third in the competition.

Since then, Celia has released multiple singles, and EP as well as 3 albums with huge success on all of them. She’s also won and been nominated for a slew of music awards including The ARI Awards, APRA Awards, J Awards, ARIA Awards, Electronic Dance Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards and the National Live Music Awards.

Texas is hands down one of our fave Sausages at Howlers and is the perfect music making companion when Celia is in the studio.

Firstly, Meet Winnie 💚

We welcomed this cute Cavoodle into our family a few weeks ago. Confident and playful, Winnie has enjoyed every moment of her Howler days and has made friends easily. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be friends with that sweet little face!?!

Jerry is 3️⃣

Our smallest Howler celebrates THREE years of age. Weighing in at a tiny 1.5kgs you’d never guess by his attitude that Jerry is micro in stature.

Both Jerry and his brother Louie have come so far in their 2 and a half year journey with Howlers. Both did not like other dogs to start with and have since learnt that it can be fun and ok to make friends and play with others.

We’re so proud of their progress and delighted to help Jerry celebrate today!

Here are some quirks about our most popular breeds at Happy Little Howlers and what makes them so special.

1. Chihuahua: The Sassy Superstar
Personality: Don’t let their small stature fool you—Chihuahuas are fearless and often act as though they’re the biggest dog in the room.
Quirk: They love being close to their humans and can often be found snuggling under blankets.

2. French Bulldog: The Comedic Companion
Personality: Known for their playful and affectionate nature, Frenchies are the class clowns of the dog world.
Quirk: Their adorable “bat ears”, goofy expressions and playful antics, make them natural attention-grabbers.

3. Dachshund: The Determined Digging Dog
Personality: Independent and stubborn, these little hounds are full of energy and determination.
Quirk: They have a unique, long body and short legs. They’re also VERY chatty!!

4. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: The Ultimate Cuddle Buddy
Personality: Sweet and gentle, Cavaliers are known for their love of snuggling and making friends with everyone.
Quirk: They’re one of the few small breeds that equally love playing and lounging.

5. Pug: Squishy Faced Snorter
Personality: Playful and charming, Pugs are affectionate, even tempered and very sociable.
Quirk: With their goofy expressions and playful antics, Pugs bring endless laughter to their owners and those around them.

6. Cavoodle: Cute Fluff Balls
Personality: Cavoodles are very affectionate and loving. They’re very social and thrive on human interaction.
Quirks: Become very attached to owners and can suffer from separation anxiety. Their fur requires regular brushing to prevent matting.

7.Jack Russell Terrier (JRT): High Energy Playmate
Personality: JRTs are bundles of energy. They’re incredibly intelligent and quick to learn, confident and bold.
Quirks: Due to their determination, JRTs are expert escapees. They’re also natural diggers and can have an obsessive toy/ball focus. Known to bark at anything that gets their attention!
