STABLEHAND required for busy performance barn in Bargo, NSW.
Duties will include general stablehand work, leading horses, rugging and unrugging and lunging.
Please note- accomodation is NOT available on site.
You will need your own transport as there is no public transport in the area.
You will be working with a great team, but the job may require some independent work also. We attend shows regularly at local, State and National competitions.
Applicants must have prior horse handling and be physically fit as it is strenuous work.
Immediate start is available and a full-time applicant is preferred.

I have put my nomination in to join the AQHA Board of Directors and for those of you who don’t know me I’d like to give you a bit of an idea of why I would love to be part of the Board.
I thoroughly enjoy my job as a horse trainer, being privileged to help youth, beginner and amateur riders achieve their goals and dreams. I am currently the AQHA Prohorsemen Chairperson, and I’m keen to continue to encourage more of our Australian trainers and coaches to join the Professional Horsemen Association. I have served on the committee of the Sydney Quarter Horse Association for many years and am currently the Vice President. I especially enjoy helping to organise SQHA shows for our members and helping out the committee on show days.
If you are seeking to elect a new Board member who is enthusiastic and believes in the Australian Quarter Horse Industry then look no further! I am passionate about the western performance industry and it’s survival in the tough economic times we’re currently facing in this country. If I’m elected I am looking forward to working collaboratively with other Board members, prepared to face any challenges that may arise as we work to promote the AQHA and supports its members.

HHT is pleased to be able to offer a horse career traineeship to a successful candidate. The traineeship involves part-time online study to attain an Australian accredited certificate, the cost of which is paid by HHT. In addition, full time paid employment is required in our busy performance barn where you will attain the practical qualifications toward your degree. The position would suit a young person considering leaving school, or who has already left school, seeking to pursue a career in the equine industry.
Immediate start available if necessary. Bargo, NSW location.
No on-site accomodation is available and you must have your own transport.
