Despite the drizzle rolling in, nothing was stopping this lively bunch from making the most of their dog-walker day. Rainy days never stop the dogs if anything, they make the play even better.
Travis and Bev arrived with one mission only: convince anyone within a 10-metre radius to throw just one ball. They sat, they wagged, they offered their best polite stares, hoping a human would finally give in. And, of course, eventually someone did because who can resist those two?
Meanwhile, Ripley and Henry decided the dog park needed a masterclass in proper wrestling technique. With big play bows, shoulder bumps, and dramatic flops, they showed everyone how it’s really done, drawing quite a crowd of amused onlookers and a few curious pups eager to join.
Bohdi, ever the sweet and gentle boy, slipped off to play hide-and-seek with a couple of giggling kids who thought he was the funniest “big teddy bear” they’d ever met. He took his hiding duties very seriously though his wagging tail behind the tree sometimes gave him away.
And then there was little Freddie, our tiny explorer queen. Rain? Puddles? Wet grass? None of it slowed her down. She led the charge through every nook and cranny the park had to offer, nose to the ground, discovering new smells like a miniature adventurer mapping her kingdom.
By the end of the outing, we had soaked fur, muddy paws, tired smiles, and one very happy dog walker surrounded by very happy dogs. Exactly how a rainy day should be. 🌧️🐕💛
