Meet our dog of the month: Dashi! 💛She’s our shy pup turned social butterfly! This adorable Groodle joined us at 6 months old and quickly became a pack favourite. In just a couple of months, Dashi transformed from wallflower to party animal! 🌟

Our little charmer loves to play with everyone, but she’s got a special fondness for dogs who adore her back. Talk about a canine connoisseur of compliments! 😂

Leash reactivity can be caused by a number of reasons such as feeling scared or stressed. Improvement won’t happen overnight, but with consistency it can be worked on! It’s important to recognise any triggers when the reactivity occurs such as other dogs, animals, cars, kids & other people. It happens when your dog has overwhelming emotions & they don’t know how to respond appropriately. Your dog will be able to spot its triggers from a larger distance away so knowing them & being observant can help avoid situations where your dog may become reactive. When they first see the source of their stress, give your doggo a treat and use positive reinforcement. Every time your dog looks at you instead of their trigger, give them another treat until you are no longer near the trigger!
