Meet Tyson and Zara, an adorable bonded pair of French Bulldogs looking for their forever home! At just 15 months and 9 months old, these playful pups are packed with energy and love.

They both love water. If you get a hose out, they will jump and catch the water as it comes out. Their foster home has a clamshell they love to chill in.

Tyson loves to steal all the toys and, in typical Bulldog style, tries to destroy them 😂. They need toys and enrichment to entertain them.

They are great with people and kids. Zara is still a pup, so a bit jumpy, but that just needs some consistent training. They are currently homed with 2-, 9-, 11-, and 12-year-old kids. They've got endless love to share.

Due to their chasing instincts, a cat-free home is necessary. They are okay with small dogs and chickens, but were a bit upset by the Great Dane they are currently housed with.

Tyson and Zara come with boundless enthusiasm but no formal training. We're looking for someone familiar with the breed or willing to put in the extra effort to train and guide them to be their best selves.

Meet Maali ID D0028

Hi my name is Maali and I am a 1 year old mixed breed from Oodnadatta. For the last 10 months I have been living with my family in the suburbs and boy do I love this life!

I am the most affectionate, loving, crazy and intelligent girl you will meet. My mum says I am so clever, and I respond well to training with treats. My favourite things are snuggles, kisses, people of all ages and other dogs, although I can be wary of big dogs. when first meeting them.

I get so excited to see other dogs, and if I am on a lead, I get a bit anxious and use my voice to let everyone know I want to meet them. I am just so excited to see dogs that I can't yet control myself with this but the trainers said I could work through this with some training and guidance from my humans.

I am a vocal girl and love to yell at my fur brother. I will also groan to mum if I am trying to get my way and she isn't letting me, I am told I am so smart and cheeky!

Oh, I absolutely love water! Whether it's sticking my head in my water bowl or shell pool, snapping at the water coming from a hose or tap or going into the ocean for a play, I just love water play!

When you get home from going out or if people come over, I can get over-excited at first and need reminding to keep my paws on the floor. I do settle quickly, though, I just want to kiss everyone’s faces!

I am toilet trained, know basic commands and am good on a lead once I get going, unless I get excited and see a dog!

I love any kind of food but chicken can sometimes make my tummy upset so my mum doesn’t give that to me anymore. I am a very energetic teenager and need plenty of room to run in my yard, I also need a companion dog as I am besotted with the one I live with right now. I am very cheeky and love to play games with him and the children I live with.

My favourite toys are squeaky stuffed toys and I don’t chew them up ever, I love to walk around squeaking them, my mum thinks this is very funny and so do I. I love playing tug of war with ropes and plastic bottles give me hours of fun until I’ve flattened them, and they don’t make sounds anymore.

Mum says I need a family that is home a lot as I am very attached to my humans, and I am an inside dog. My favourite place to sleep is next to you or one of your children on a human bed. Most times I don’t take up much room but now and then I like to stretch out next to you. I'm a 14 week old mixed breed boy. My foster carer thinks I will be roughly the size of a Labrador when fully grown.

I am possibly one of the smartest dogs my foster carer has ever known (smart as in crafty). I am highly food motivated, and love to learn new things (but only if treats are involved).

I have a fascination with socks, and like to use them to play tug of war with my brothers.

I love to be near humans, and will gladly come to get ear scratches and other affection.

I fully understand that nwspapers are bad for peoples mental health with all the bad news in them, so I will personally remove all the bad news articles, and shred the paper into the smallest possible pieces, so you don't have to read that garbage.

I am mischievous and playful like all puppies are, and I would definitely benefit from puppy pre-school or dog training, so we can both learn to understand each other, and do great things.

Our Story

Paws & Claws Adoptions is a small self-funded volunteer group located in South Australia, dedicated to caring for and finding furever homes for abandoned and surrendered animals. By enabling fostering and promoting adoption, Paws & Claws Adoptions aims to re-home the rescued/surrendered animals into what we call their ‘furever’ home. An interim foster home ensures animals are kept in a family environment to help them better adjust to new homes.
