⭐️ Meet Vetwest Wanneroo’s newest reception super star, Lando the golden retriever puppy ⭐️
He was very happy relaxing and taking in all the cuddles after his vaccination and health check ❤️
🐶 Lando’s Mum signed him up to our Total Wellness Plan so he will be coming in for regular weight checks and treats from the team.
We can’t wait to see him again soon! 🐾

Pumpkin is a 1-year-old female Persian who has had increasingly itchy ears over the last few months. In house cytology at our Vetwest Clinic revealed a common parasite “otodectes cyanotis “or the common ear mite.
❗️We can help little Pumpkin with Advocate spot on, an anti-inflammatory and some ear drops.

Here at Vetwest we have Veterinarians who come from various backgrounds and all walks of life. We welcome ANYONE who has the animal care passion in their blood. The theme for the 2023 World Veterinary Day is ‘Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness in the Veterinary Profession’. We feel like we do a pretty good job.
It's also a day to celebrate all veterinarians, their work and their impact. Although the importance of veterinarians is hardly a secret, people do forget that a vets work goes beyond clinical treatment of animals.

🥰Thank you for the tears and thoughts for the ones you couldn't (No matter what you did).
🥰Thank you for being there on the ruff days (Pun Intended), and from all of us Fur-Parents who just needed a moment of time.

☠️Spooky Scary Skeletons.... Halloween is upon us .... The witching hour is nearly here - and so are all the kids in their finest attire out looking for the Halloween Candy....☠️
🐶Whilst the fun of trick or treating excites many of us and going through our candy and chocolates later to see what goodies we have managed to retrieve is often the best part of all hallows eve - we often forget that our doggy counterparts can't partake in this part of the tradition.🐶

Vet Nurse Day 2022
🐶To our past, present and future Vetwest Vet Nurses....(And all Vet Nurses everywhere)🐶
🥳Today is a day of celebration - it's your day. It's Vet Nurse Day!! 🥳
🥰You are all superheroes, your superpowers are endless - but include compassion, care, kindness and strength. Today we sit back and recognize all the hard work you do, to make sure all of our furry loved ones are taken care of no matter how big or small the issue🥰
It is you who are on the front line to make sure our clients have someone they can lean on and have a chat to, to put their minds at ease because maybe their family Lab chose today to taste that easter egg the kids hid under the couch for the last few months, or fluffy has started to enjoy scooting around the carpet which your partner thinks is hilarious but makes your eye twitch a little, or maybe boots got out last night and you're worried that he may not come back but secretly he is just next door having his second dinner from his secret family and will be back by lunchtime...
These are just some of the basic scenarios we see daily - yet you manage to find the grace and kindness to treat each of these as if it's the first time you are having these conversations.... and take the time to reassure these amazing clients that it's all pretty standard and we can help.
You also still ensure our furbabies welfare and safety during those standard or intense surgical procedures.... there is so much to your roles that many wont really see.
We should thank you each and every day - but the days, weeks and months do get away from us all. That is why we nominate today as the one day we will ensure you get the thanks and appreciation that is so well deserved.
Today is the perfect day for everyone out there to pop into your local Vet Clinic - wherever that may be- and just say thank you. It's a valued day to acknowledge the vital role they play within any vet clinic team.
