Bayside Companion Dog Training School BCDTS - Melbourne's friendly and supportive companion dog training school! A dog training school with years of experience and lots of volunteer instructors.

Dealing with all manner of dog behavioural issues. With a clear focus on making your pet the best companion, we teach you and your family the skills to keep your dog happy and well socialized with other pets and people. We help rehabilitate rescued dogs and are confident that our classes will help strengthen the bond between you and your pet. Class times:
Thursday 10:45 - 11:30 am

Sunday:
First grades 9:45 - 10:30am
Advanced: 10:45 - 11:30am

(Please arrive 30 minutes early when enrolling.)

For just $50, get your dog or cat vaccinated and checked by skilled RSPCA shelter veterinarians.

You'll also receive expert advice to keep your furry friend happy and healthy to help strengthen the bond with your family.

What you need to know:
🐾 One ticket per animal for thorough health checks (maximum two animals per person.
🐾 Secure your pets with a lead or carrier for their safety.

EASTER SUNDAY 2023 - CLOSED

There will be NO classes this Sunday (Easter Sunday). You and your dogs can enjoy a sleep in this Sunday morning.
Thursday classes will be held as normal at 10:45am for those that want to continue their training on a Thursday.
Our Sunday classes will resume as normal on Sunday 16 April 2023.

And remember, both chocolate & the sultanas in Hot Cross Buns are toxic for dogs! Please keep them well away from your dog friends!! See you all after the Easter break.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Major sewer upgrade from 24th October - 31st December will result in the closure of Higgins Rd and restricted parking. The works will extend from the public toilet entrance to Hodgson reserve eastward to Wood St. There are also lane closures and reduced speed prior to the works will be in place from 17th-21th October.

Please allow extra time, as parking limitation and reduced access to Higgins Rd (and the dog school) will require parking in the adjoining streets.

BCDTS will remain open as usual during this time,

Dedicated to the memory of Sally Hill, our photo competition will once again seek the best dog photos as submitted by you, the members. Entries close on 9th October 2022.

Enter your favourite photo(s) of your dog (taken by you!)
1. Place a print into the box at the BCDTS office with your name, phone number and dog’s name written on the back.
2. Submit via email to [email protected], including the dog’s name.

A dog training school specialising in Life Skills for family dogs and their families. The club has years of experience and lots of volunteer instructors. Dealing with all manner of dog behavioural issues. With a clear focus on making your pet the best companion, we teach you and your family the skills to keep your dog happy and well socialized with other pets and people. We help rehabilitate rescued dogs and are confident that our classes will help strengthen the bond between you and your pet. The club places emphasis on serving the community through training and support of community causes. Class times: Thursday 10:45 - 11:30 am Sunday: First grades 9:45 - 10:30am Advanced: 10:45 - 11:30am (Please arrive 30 minutes early when enrolling.)
