Yesterday we ran a RECOVER CPR Workshop at Northside Emergency Veterinary Service for staff from member vet practices Mona Vale Veterinary Hospital, Gordon Vet Hospital, Hornsby Veterinary Hospital, Hornsby Heights Vet Hospital and Thornleigh Veterinary Hospital.

The group, who were all nurses, approached the codes with enthusiasm and confidence and showed nurses can do CPR just as well as vets (if not better 😉)

In another life I am the VP of AAVDI (Australasian Association of Diagnostic imaging).

This year their conference is being held in Hobart in March.

Last week we ran a RECOVER CPR workshop for the wonderful staff at The Pet Specialists. They did a fantastic job and got really into the codes with enthusiasm. Well done everyone!

On Saturday we ran a RECOVER CPR Workshop for member vet staff members at Northside Emergency Veterinary Service.

There were representatives from Seaforth Veterinary Hospital, The Village Vet, Terrey Hills Animal Hospital, Pittwater Animal Hospital, Dee Why Veterinary Hospital and Gladesville Vet Hospital.

It was the first workshop we have run based on the new 2024 RECOVER guidelines which came out a few months ago- so they have been trained with the most up to date information regarding CPR.

We had a fun day last week training the staff at Dr Spot Vet - Campbelltown North Animal Hospital , they transformed their waiting room into a training room and did a fantastic job with their CPR codes.

Last weekend we ran a RECOVER CPR workshop for member vets and nurses of Northside Emergency Veterinary Service

There were staff members from Turramurra Veterinary Hospital Pittwater Animal Hospital Aubreen Veterinary Hospital Belrose Veterinary Hospital Thornleigh Veterinary Hospital and Northern Districts Veterinary Hospital

Everyone did fantastically and can now approach CPR codes in their practices with confidence. Well done everyone!

We had a great day training the whole team of vets and vet nurses in CPR last week at Sylvania Veterinary Hospital. They all got really into it and did and amazing job at the scenarios. They will be ready to deal with any CPR code. Well done team!

Last Saturday we ran two RECOVER CPR workshops for the staff at Gladesville Vet Hospital. There was a great turnout with 25 attendees in total made up of a mix of vets, nurses, animal attendants and receptionists. They are now well prepared for any CPR codes that occur!
