Just a few of my puppies from last week.
The absolutely gorgeous Winston got his first ever look into what it would be like to get pampered every few months! He is only 10 weeks old, so showed him the noises, let him sniff around and lots and lots of treats :) he handle the whole process amazingly and is definitely ready for a full groom next time. This time, we just brushed, tidied up around his eyes, and gave him a hygiene clip.

The latest fluffballs

Waffle - what an awesome little dude he is! Back for a tidy up pampering session, he gets a full bath and brush out service, must keep those beautiful long locks looking mint. Tidy up of the face, feet, and a hygiene clip.

Lucky - first time grooming this gorgeous boy today. I was warned he would be noisy, and he did not disappoint. I'm glad to say he settled down halfway through. He's so fluffy!!!

Tessa- This darling little lady gets her regular full pampering groom. Don't let those beautiful big puppy dog eyes fool you, she makes me work hard to get her looking perfect! She does not stop moving, and often just wants a cuddle halfway through the groom session, and tries to leap in to my arms, but hey, I give in every time 🥰

Floyd - What a gentle man. Floyd gets a nice short groom, feels silky smooth after 😍

First up Teddy for a full groom and pampering! He shedded is big fur coat for a sleek, more aerodynamic coat, makes him go faster 😂 he needs to be able to keep up with younger sister Tali, a gorgeous kelpie who got a bath and blowdry today 🥰
Maizie for a full groom pampering today, keeping a bit more of a longer coat still, Maizie is such a sweet dog, and such a pleasure to groom.
Little Miss Marceline got a full groom pampering today, maintaining a longer coat as well, gotta stay super cute and fluffy 😍 Marceline still finds grooming a very scary thing, I am working hard to make it a more enjoyable experience for her.

Charlie has come all the way from the UK, to what he thinks is warm weather! He is loving his first few days experiencing Perth, and now, after his full pampering groom today, he looks super smart. Welcome to Australia and see you in 5 weeks 🥰
Mr Loki is a regular that I am working with to make grooming a more enjoyable experience. Today was his first groom with medications, and he did a lot better, still not able to give him a full nice groom, but he was a lot less anxious. We are tweeking his meds (under the vets advise) and see how he goes next time. We want him to have the best experience and to hopefully one day not mind being groomed. See you soon Loki 😍

I love my job! And I love all my dogs I get to groom.
My regulars are filling up, so remember to book in advance so you don't miss out on days and times you want. There is still a bit of room for new clients, but I'm getting regular requests.

Hank- teenie tiny cutie, back for his full groom pampering.

I Got to spend the morning with the gorgeous Miss Harlow, she is only 8 months old and still has some growing to do.
Getting groomed is Harlows least favourite thing to do, so this process takes a bit longer, hopefully as she gets older she gets more use to it 🤞🤞
This is the first time for me grooming her, and I will work with her now to make grooming a more enjoyable experience for her. Lucky she is treat motivated 😂

Miss Frankie, the gorgeous young lady, always a pleasure to groom, so well behaved.
Mr Harvey, snow white and absolutely adorable 😍 was a very good boy for his groom.
Rusty, for his first ever full deshed. What a handsome boy he is! He was such a good boy, gotta watch out for those attack kisses though, they come when least expecting 🥰
Benji just got a bath and blowdry today, full groom in 3 weeks. He's so fluffy!!!

Cousins Rosie and Stevie (poodles) what an absolute pleasure to groom, both super sweet and cuddly.
Brother sister duo (not by blood) Chiccio and Shadow, both cuties, both did great :)
Shadow chatted for most of the groom, while Chiccio (cavalier) patiently waited for it to be over haha

Winter- what an absolute gorgeous little poppet. Little Winter has just found her furever home at nearly 4 years old. She is very lucky to have such an awesome mum who is taking things slowly and showing her that the big wide world doesn't have to be so scary. Knowing Winters story, i took it slowly today with her as well, just a little trim of her feathers, ear clean and trim and nice warm bath 😍
Dexter- this handsome boy doesn't normally get a before and after, but he is so photogenic that he needed one today. (Promise they are a before and after photo 😂)
He just gets a regular bath and nail trim with his brother every 3 weeks, so no big reveal. Haha just goes a bit fluffy 🥰

Meet Nala, I have posted about Nala before, she is my dog, and is a work in progress 😂
I want to update you all on her progress and how far she has come.
Nala hates being groomed! She is an anxious dog at best, but even seeing a brush, she will run a mile.
Before I knew Nala, she used to get completely sedated at the vets and clipped short. I then started taking her to my vet where I worked and did the same. Since starting my grooming business, I have slowly introduced Nala to a few medications to give before a groom and see how she went.
I get the medications from the vet, they calm her down, take away anxiety, and make her slightly drowsy.
Today was the first time that I was able to clip around her face and use scissors around her face without a muzzle, even on the medications.
For a good part of the groom, she was actually relaxed, which was amazing to see.
I know a lot of people don't like the idea of having to medicate theirs pets for a groom or a vet visit, but if it takes away that anxiety and fear some dogs get (thankfully not many) then I think it's a great tool to use to get them use to these events in life.
Medications arnt just for dogs that bite, they can be for dogs that get so anxious during a groom that they move around so much and won't let you touch them.
Nala is nearly 8 years old, and is getting better with her anxiety every day 🥰

Please excuse the clip....I tried a shorter muzzle this time so she doesn't have to have it clipped as often.

The gorgeous Mr Loki got his full groom pampering today.
I didn't get any after photos because my brain forgot, you just get during photos as we had to have a lot of breaks and cuddles as grooming is not Loki's favourite thing to do.
He is so cute and loves a cuddle 😍
