Hello everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. The last few months have been extremely difficult, as I have had multiple health concerns which don't appear to be improving. As a result, I have to make some changes. Among these changes are the shrinking down of the available hours for the company, and adjusting the pricing of some of the services. Details below:

From the 10th of April, 2023, we will be moving to a half-hourly/hourly based payment schedule for private training. Half an hour of private training will be $70, and a full hour will be $110. Exercise and play pricing structures such as group and solo walks will remain the same.

Second, I will be closing my books to new clients, and decreasing the availabilities I currently have. I will inform/already have informed the clients I am keeping on, but if you would like to move to another provider I am happy to give recommendations.

I hope the reduced hours will be a temporary arrangement and I will be able to resume full capacity soon. Thank you all for your support.

Hello everyone!

We are going to be making some changes to our services over the coming weeks, including adding more walking groups and solo walking slots on Mondays and Wednesdays! To celebrate this new schedule, we are providing a walk discount for anyone who books in January and February.

Please note that we will be keeping safe and cool over summer, so if the day becomes too hot, we may cancel a session to keep our four-legged friends happy and healthy.

This is just a PSA to all of our wonderful clients and their 4-legged friends.

As we approach the warmer months, some of our services will not be available between the hours of 1pm and 4pm. This is to protect our 4-legged friends and staff from heat stroke and burnt paw pads. We thank everyone for their understanding, and changes will be made to block out these time slots on our booking system for those specific services.

Following the beginning of the new financial year, we are increasing the prices of many of our services. Services which have been prepaid are not affected by this, but any new bookings will have a price increase as of the 18th of July. Unfortunately our wonderful head trainer Wren has got Covid. So any clients booked in for next 7 days will have to be moved to the following week. I will be calling people over the next few days to reschedule these sessions.

This is Raven the Swiss Shepherd, we have been working on her leash walking. We have been focusing on calming her down on the leash rather than playing tug-o’-war with it. She’s making great progress. 🐶🐾

This is lovely Maya - it was too dark to go out for a training walk, so we troubleshooted some behavioural concerns. She responded very well to dog meditation with our head trainer. 🐶🐾

Important info below!

Well, it's been a little while since we've posted here, but we promise we've been working hard to offer you all the best in dog training services! As a result of this, we are switching our booking system today, and will no longer be available to book through the Wix Spaces app.

Our new system is SimplyBook, and there are a huge amount of new features that we can offer through it, including online dog sitting bookings and the ability to book multiple sessions at once.

More exciting new changes are coming soon, so keep an eye out for more information!

Socialisation Saturday! 🐶
Today we had the gorgeous Miss Bailey and adorable Mr Reggie, in a supervised socialisation session. It is super important to actively socialise your pups from an early age, with all different breeds. It helps build their confidence and helps them understand different styles of play language. 🐾

We're back!
Bow Tie Dog Training is back up and running with our group walks. Today in the group walk gang, we had big smiles from Obie, Bailey and Bonny. Due to the ease on restrictions we are also able to start in home intial consults again, and in home training sessions. We look forward to seeing our regulars, and any new pups! 🐾🐶

Two washed and blow-dried dogs! Baths are often a test as to how wet you can get. With training, you can get your pup to tolerate or even like having a bath and a dry!

Hello all!

We are launching two new services today - group dog walking and in-house dog sitting!

Group dog walks are specifically for dogs which may need exercise while you are away. We walk dogs in groups of 3-4 around many of the beautiful trails in Canberra and surrounding regions.

In-house dog sitting is an easy way to be certain your dog is getting the best possible care while you're away! The base cost includes overnight stays and a short walk each day, with the option of adding on a longer walk, mental enrichment, and even obedience/behavioural training.
