Hello! We're back from Borneo. We had an amazing time, but now it's back to business for me (sew, sew, sew). I'll be back at Salamanca Market in August ~ 10th & 31st.

Thylacine. On a cold and foggy morning.

FYI.. My coats are handmade using remnant and recycled curtain fabric. I use block out fabric because it's durable, and the acrylic backing adds more weight/an extra layer. This helps create a more water-resistant coat. Although not 100% waterproof, they do offer the 'Tassie Tiger' the opportunity to walk and play in light rain and drizzle. All are lined with polar fleece too, which is warm and quick drying.

Hey all! I don't post myself on social media much (just dogs 🤣), but here's me, all rugged up, on a cold winter's Saturday at Salamanca Market.

Right now, I'm at Hobart airport, with my husband and son, waiting for our 1st flight to our holiday destination, Malaysia! 😁

So, the pedal on my sewing machine will be out of action for most of this month 😃

FYI I'll be back at Salamanca Market on 10 and 31 August, and my online shop will reopen at the end of July. Bye for now (but expect to see some holiday photos coming up, hopefully of orangutans)

'Tassie Tiger' sightings seem to increase over winter 🤔 SEEN recently in Victoria 😯

Hobart, Tasmania is apparently a hot spot for sightings 😜 Keep an eye out if you're at Salamanca Market tomorrow 👀 I'll be at stall number 11 (Davey Street end), 8.30am to 3pm.

Dogs are like rainbows. They are always able to cheer you up 🐕 😃 🌈

I'll have Tassie Tiger themed rainbow bandanas at Salamanca Market this Saturday, 25th May. With winter coming, days can be darker, especially under my black stall marquee! So expect to see some colour this Saturday ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 stall number 10 (Davey Street end), 8.30am to 3pm.

DEVILS! Just thought I'd share something not Thylacine or dog related. Every few months the University of Tasmania (Devil Research Team) set up 2 PVC traps on our property over a period of 10 days. This is done on other Southern Tasmanian properties in our region. Any captured Devil undergoes a health check (blood samples, microchipped, weighed), and is examined for tumours. Over the 10 days, a total of 12 Devils were captured, 6 of which were on our property. Only 1 had DFTD (Devil Facial Tumour Disease). All Devils are released back into the wild. The data assist the team with research into the disease

This is Winston. Our 5 month old puppy. He's modelling a new bandana colour which has rusty tones (size medium). Its a great colour for a dog with a tan coat. These will be available at Salamanca Market tomorrow, 30 March, stall number 10. If in Hobart, I hope to see you 😃

This is Winston. We adopted him a week ago from Dogs' Homes of Tasmania. He was a stray, and is now settling in well with us. At roughly 4 months of age, he is full of playful puppy energy. In the future you'll see him modelling some Thyla Scene garments (when his little teeth aren't tempted to chew them off!).

In the meantime, I'm still sewing after having a little break, and will be back at SALAMANCA MARKET on Saturday 17 February.

When Ivy's family visited my stall at Salamanca Market recently, they weren't sure if a large coat would fit around her deep chest. So Ivy scored a large gold bandana instead. She seems happy with the choice 😊 🐕
