“Hudson is a 7-year-old miniature dachshund, who had his first of three episodes of intervertebral disc disease, grade 4, in January/February/August last year. He has been getting weekly hydrotherapy and laser therapy.
When he showed signs of mild lameness in January this year, we took him to be reviewed by his surgeon who diagnosed a grade 1 recurrence and recommended conservative treatment via crate rest.
