Busy Biscuit came to us after taking on a big brown snake! Although Biscuit won the snake war, the venom was trying to win the toxin battle. 🐍

Luckily, his mum and dad were incredibly fast acting and got him in for treatment immediately. 💉

Nurse Shannon had the best time caring for Biscuit during his hospital stay, he even helped nurse Shannon send off some important emails and write up all of his care notes.

Try to stay out of trouble Biscuit! Even though we adored having you with us ❤️

A reminder to all our clients to be aware that our pets can get quite anxious when hearing fireworks

Please ensure your pets are safe with these tips and tricks:

- Distraction with treats
- Avoid leaving them outside alone
- Update your microchip details (escapes!)
- For the highly anxious consider medication

Feel free to call us for more help if you think your furbaby may need some anxiety medication

Top tips to keep your pet cool this summer 🌞

- Water: Provide fresh, cool water in shady areas. Have multiple to ensure they have all day access to water
- Cooling Beds: Special gel inner lining provides a cool surface to lay on
- Cold treats: Fill a kong toy with treats, water or peanut butter then freeze. Provides your pet with enrichment and keeps them cool 🍧
- Paddle Pool: Cool water to lie in. Fill only enough to wet their paws and belly.
- Grooming: Regular brushing removes loose fur. Consider clipping pets with long/ thick coat pets.
