Rusty Amber Labradoodles Queensland's first breeder of the Australian Labradoodle Welcome to Rusty Amber Labradoodles.

After 22 years of breeding in Brisbane QLD we decided it was time for a sea change. We are now located in the very beautiful Northern Rivers area in Northern NSW new the holiday town of Yamba. Rusty Amber was the first breeder of Australian Labradoodles in Queensland, we purchased our first dog in 2001. We had our first litter with Amber 2003 who surprised us with a box of chocolates - 10 gorgeous

chocolate babies. As breeders of standard, medium and mini multi-generation Australian Labradoodles our goal is to produce genetically sound dogs, that are ideally suited to families - a dog with a great temperament and a non-shedding coat. We are a small-scale breeder and all puppies are raised in our home and socialised with our kids to ensure our puppies can handle your kids! All our breeding dogs are health tested for major genetic problems that are found in the parent breeds prior to breeding and and we provide a health guarantee with all our puppies.

Well we just couldn't help ourselves! We decided to do a repeat litter for Frankie and Freddy as their last litter was so wonderful. Puppies are on the way and due 29th of January and will be ready for families around 27th of March. These pup will be smaller medium to medium size 14-16kgs as adults in shades of black and chocolate with merle and parti markings as well as solid coloured pups. We have babies on the way! We are getting a bit of a break over Xmas but are back in January. First timers Hazel (Bear's Daughter)and Zeke are expecting pups on the 8th of January (ready for families early March 2025)! These pups will be medium to larger medium size 16-18kgs (think Kelpie/border collie as a height guide). This litter will be mostly chocolate abstract and parti with a few caramels thrown in. Rustys Chocolate Crackle knows her guardian family is out there she is just being patient.
We think this girl has a wonderful temperament like her mum Frankie. She is showing all the personality traits that we love in our potential breeding girls. She likes to sit back and assess the situation - a thinker. Gives great eye contact when you talk to her (great opportunities for those head tilt pics ☺️, loves attention but not too needy. She will grow to around 14-16kgs as an adult. Looking ideally for a Brisbane based guardian family. We have this gorgeous gold girl available in Lyla and Neo's litter. She is a bundle of fun, confident and sweet. We think she will end up closer to dad Neo's size at 14-15kgs as an adult.
