Young Mr RENZO came to Doggie Manners to address his barking and commence obedience training. It’s important that our dogs not only have physical stimulation but also mental. Practicing the behaviours we are wanting sets our dogs up for success. Communicating clearly while including structure & boundaries both at home and when on walk - continues to strengthen RENZO’s confidence, his impulse control and your bond. Always rewarding the correct or wanted behaviours. Well RENZO 🐾

We welcomed young Miss PEPPER to Doggie Manners to build her confidence & impulse control in society and start her on her obedience journey. Introducing boundaries at home and we slowly began to desensitize her to her triggers, creating positives. It takes time and patience to change and create new habits. PEPPER has been apart of the GROUP sessions which helped her socialization. Well done PEPPER🐾

Mr MARLEY, an over excited young dog came to Doggie Manners to focus on his obedience, strengthen his impulse control & confidence.
Communicating clearly while putting boundaries and structure into MARLEY’s world, MARLEY’s confidence began to grow. Removing an over excited dog, instead of working at the dog’s safe distance, only continues to strengthen the unwanted behavior. One step at a time - building on positives, we began creating new behaviours. Thanks LOUIS for helping MARLEY with his calmness & confidence. MARLEY is loving the GROUP sessions. Well done MARLEY 🐾

Mr DANTE, an older 6mth big pup, although he was training elsewhere came to Doggie Manners to address his over excited energy while beginning his obedience training journey. Previously DANTE was removed from situations, when in the presence of his triggers (dogs), this only heightened his reaction. We began desensitizing DANTE (at his safe distance) to his triggers while introducing obedience exercises. Focusing on his impulse control & building his confidence. Being patient - one step at a time- a now confident DANTE loves coming and being apart of the GROUP sessions. Well done Dante🐾

Miss WAFFLE & her family rehomed Miss SUKI into their family. Having previously trained at Doggie Manners with the family’s previous dog Pancake, we welcomed both WAFFLE & SUKI to DM. SUKI ,4yo, had spent her life as a breeding dog. Now she had finally found her forever family, to love & help her grow from a nervous anxious to a confident dog. It was & is a slow process but with time and patience we began to see this beautiful girl slowly blossom.
WAFFLE already had a good understanding of obedience training but with bringing another dog into the family, new boundaries needed to be established.
We introduced obedience training, clear communication and boundaries - same for both dogs - within the home and when on a walk. Well done team WAFFLE & SUKI 🐾

Miss WINNIE, and her family came to Doggie Manners to address her nervousness on walks & reduce her separation anxiety. Prior to coming to DM, previous training focused on creating space and correcting unwanted behaviours. Moving forward - time & patience was needed - building on each positive. We began with introducing boundaries & structure into WINNIE’s world along with obedience training & clear communication. Always setting WINNIE up to succeed. WINNIE loves coming to GROUP which has seen her confidence & impulse control grow. WINNIE has also enjoyed a Board & Train. Thanks LOUIS for helping build WINNIE’s confidence Well done WINNIE 🐾
