Now that 2024 has officially ended, I would like to express my sincere heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the GPH team. Here at GPH, we have a lovely team of riders and horses, where everyone is very supportive and encouraging of each other. In 2024, everyone kicked goals and now gearing up for an even more successful year in 2025.

The last 5 months Elliot has had extensive professional Dressage training, he sits in a frame with ease and works nicely off the leg with a lovely flowing canter. He retired sound from racing in Dec 2020 after only 3 starts, he then spent 18 months with an EA approved showjumping retainer so he’s had really well-rounded training put into him.

Elliot has been brought along slowly, attending dressage & pole clinics, jump days, cross country training days, PC musters and a dressage comp. He has attended some big showjumping competitions during his SJ training including Larapinta in 2021 and in 2022 Festival of SJ at Caboolture however has done lower level jumping with his current owner. He is an extremely easy horse to have around and is not phased by much.

Elliot has been trail ridden many places on his own or with others, he is happy to roll along on a loose rein and explore new environments. He has a brave and bold personality and thrives being in full work. He would suit a confident adult rider who enjoys doing a variety of things or an older teen rider that wants to get out and compete at Pony Club and EA. He is a big horse and although quiet, he needs a confident rider to get the best out of him, not suitable for a beginner rider or home. He holds his weight on no hard feed which is a great bonus!

This is a much loved horse and a tough sale due to his owners lack of time to put him in full work with a young family. He will only be sold to an approved home who is happy to keep in touch.

I’ve been coaching Millie for almost 4 years now. She is an incredible rider and very dedicated. It’s been an honour and privilege watching her develop into the rider she is today. 👏👏

Super proud of my students competing at dressage day last week. All of them performing really well and kicking goals!

scored a BP in the Novice 2.3 with 69.571% and 1st place. The hard work is paying off with some really promising work shown.

Aimee competed her young horse, Carl in his first dressage competition ever. He took the whole atmosphere in his stride. Despite being distracted at times, he showed some lovely canter work in the 1.2.

Sharon scored a well deserved 68.542% and 2nd place in the 1.3. These two are starting to look more and more confident with every outing.

Well done team. A great way to end the comp season!

Congratulations to student, and her horse, Valinor Park Eminence (aka Harry) for attending their first competition together. Like every first comp, there were a lot of lessons learnt. I am very proud Kara and Harry achieved 4th place in the prelim 1.2. Very excited to see what’s to come in the future for this combination.
