We have REBRANDED!
With many large life changes recently, I have decided to rebrand.
Formerly known as MALS Snags, my page is now known as “Dachshunds on the Downs”. At this current time after the lose of our beloved Ivy, I am only offering Stud services with Moose. As many of my followers know, I pride myself on all of our Stud dogs & puppies being genetically tested.
Now based on the Western Downs, our Services are available.

We would also love for our extended Dachshund family to share photos of their puppies with us. We would LOVE to hear from you all.

Finally got Ivy back 😭😭 she is home with us now 😭😭

It’s with a heavy heart that we tell you all Ivy has passed away 😭😭💔 we are all heart broken 💔💔💔 she had one week until she was to give birth to puppies. Words can not describe how much she meant to us and there is going to be a massive hole in our family.
Please everyone give there ivy babies extra hugs this afternoon. I wish I could give Ivy just one last cuddle and smooch 💔💔💔💔

Expressions of interest.

Due to unforseen circumstances we are needing to find Clover a new home. Thisis a very hard decision, so she will not be going to the first person. We would like to find her the perfect home to suit her quirky personality.

She has recently been desexed and has also had her 3 year booster vaccination. Her next vaccination is due in August 2025. She is also wormed and flea treated regularly.

We are asking $1500 but price is negotiable for the right home.

The vet said that these puppies can have the problems fixed when desexing. That’s why there prices are reduced even more. Happy to talk more about what is needed for the 2 pups.

The puppies will come vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed every 2 weeks. The puppies are brought up around my kids, cats and my other dachshunds.

I own both parents.
Dad- Moose is a chocolate long haired. He has been DNA tested and is clear of all genetic diseases. He carries the pied gene. Moose is a big softy and loves to smooch and be with you.

Mum- Clover is a Black and Tan short haired. She has been DNA tested and is clear of all genetic diseases. She carries the pied gene and Long haired gene. Clover is loves to run around and play, she is a very energetic dog. Does love a snuggle too. She has a bow in her front left leg, does not effect her.

This was an accidental litter by the time I realised she was pregnant it was to late to terminate. Because of clovers bowed leg the puppies won’t be able to be bred from once they are old enough, the puppies will have to be desexed. The price reflects this.

Puppies will not be going to the first person who wants them. The new owners will have to sign a contract to say that the puppy will be desexed and not bred from.

Clover will be desexed once the puppies are weened.
