Brighter Future Cat Rescue is a western Sydney based rescue organisation run by a dedicated family and amazing feline loving foster carers. Our aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and eventually re-home them to a permanent indoor home or ones with enclosures are ideally preferred, the last thing that we would want is that they end up back on the street dealing with everyday dangers that comes with cats

being outside. Each cat is provided with a loving foster home where they are then socialised and if need be any vet treatment will be done before finding their perfect forever home. Each and every cat will be re-homed with up to date vaccinations (generally all three kitten vac’s unless adopted before they can all be done) desexed, microchipped, up to date with parasite protection and treated for any other illnesses that may occur while in care. To help aid in finding these gorgeous kitties homes we are always in need of someone to take stunning pictures, so if you feel you can possibly help please contact us directly – Who wouldn’t like to spend their time playing….. Foster Carers:
Foster carers open their homes and hearts to care for kittens and cats that are in dire need of someone to care for them until they can find their fur-ever homes. It is an essential part of any rescue which enables us to maximise the number of cats we can help each year. Yuffie has been adopted and gone off to her new home. When Tatiana saw her she knew that Yuffie would be part of her family. She will have a new cat friend to hang out with.

Cappuccino ☕️

Cappuccino came into care at just 3.5 weeks old, and his gentle big eyes and gentle personality won our hearts over immediately. He is a reserved little boy, but when it comes to toys, there's no stopping him! He likes to be the shadow of his siblings however comes out of his shell and is super loving with plenty of one on one time and is easily won over with ear tickles and paw massages. He will best thrive in an indoor home being the only fur baby. He is currently 6 weeks old and will be available for adoption in approximately 4 weeks time with all vet work completed.

Espresso ☕️

Espresso came into care at just 3.5 weeks old and instantly took to a human touch. He has the most beautiful golden tabby markings and the cutest black paw pads. He is a loving boy who enjoys naps on laps and a good chin scratch. He would thrive best in any indoor home with or without other fur siblings. He is currently 6 weeks old and will be available for adoption in approximately 4 weeks with all vet work completed.

Nani is still looking for her forever home.

Nani has a condition called Cerebellar hypoplaysia / wobbly cat or CH. She wobbles when she walks and has head bobs when she eats. This condition won’t get any worse and won’t shorten their life spans. They will live a normal life like any other cat.

Nani likes to be Queen of her castle and would enjoy a home to herself or one other friendly cat. She would need slow introductions for this to happen successfully.

She loves her food, loves to play with her toys and loves a nice fluffy blanket to sleep on. She also really loves cuddles and a good back scratch.

🩷 YUFFIE 🩷

Yuffie is ready to find her forever home!

Yuffie is only a little girl and very sweet and friendly. She loves people and a nice warm lap to lay on your while you are watching tv.

She’s very playful and enjoys playing with wand toys, crinkle balls and toys she can chase and carry around. Yuffie would be good in any home.

Tifa is ready to find her forever home!

💜 Tifa is such a love bug. She’s so friendly and confident and loves attention. She comes running to the door everytime someone walks in the door. She is a great eater and is not fussy. Tifa would suit any home.

Hi everyone

We will be attending the Paws for Stores adoption day which we have been invited to attend at Bunnings, Great Western Highway, Blacktown on Sunday 11 August, 2024 from 9am to 4pm. We will be having a sausage sizzle, a cake stall, a merchandise table and an awareness table for this event. If anyone would like to donate any cakes or biscuits to sell on the day would be amazing or even pop down to say hi, and purchase a sandwich or a drink or a cake. All money raised will go towards helping more cats and kittens in need.

Beautiful Spy went to her new home with the lovely Kayla & Mitchell today. She is going to be a city girl and will be loved & spoiled like her new sister Gizmo 🥰
Being one of the tiny sick Bidwill kittens, she will always have a special place in my heart and be missed here. But knowing her in a loving home is a great comfort and the whole reason we’re doing this ❤️

Vincent was found hanging around a factory so the workers started feeding him before reaching out for someone to help him.

He’s super sweet and friendly but very dirty. He has already had one bath but will need another to be nice and clean.

Vincent is around 10 weeks old will be ready for adoption in a couple of weeks once his vet work is completed. He is located in Blacktown.

Our divine little Sabrina, now to be known as Lucy, went to her forever home with the fabulous Kim. She will be joining her new fur siblings and will have some wonderful playmates.

Sabrina was one of our tiny bottle babies, having come into care at only a few days old. We are thrilled that she’s grown into the most loving little girl. Happy life little one! We miss you already.

Please welcome George. George has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH/wobbly kitten). He walks with a wobbleand has head shakes. George can eat on his own and also use the litterbox. He is a very excitable young man. He loves ping pong balls and will chase them just like any other cat. He only arrived today and has all his vet work done.

Great News Today.. The pretty little Sarah went off and joined her new family.. Shes gone to a home with a four legged sister called Roxy, a beautiful soft and gentle 8 year old boy Sebastian and his mum Deanne.

Something tells me Sarah won the family jackpot today.

Possum

Possum is still waiting to find her forever home and it’s hard to understand why. She’s such a loving girl and has a beautiful grey tabby coat.

Possum is a shy girl when she first meets new people but once she trusts you she becomes very loving and affectionate. She loves a cuddle and sleeps with her foster carer every night. In the morning she makes the cutest little meows to tell you it’s time for breakfast. Possum loves her food and treats!

She is currently living with 4 other cats and a small dog and she gets along well with everyone.

Possum is around 10 months old now and would love to have a family of her own. She would suit a quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace. She is located in Blacktown.

Our gorgeous Kelly (now to be known as Millie) and Jill (now to be known as Ivy), have gone to their forever home yesterday with Pooja and Liam!

I’ve never seen my babies take to their new owners so fast! They literally went straight to sleep in Pooja and Liam’s arms💗💗

These babies came to us at just a few days old and were bottle fed from then on. They’ve grown into the most darling sweet and loving girls imaginable. I’m sure they’re going to be incredibly spoiled!

✨Two torties are twice the fun!✨

Bonded sisters Felony & Spy just turned 5 months old and are still patiently waiting for their forever indoor home.
The girls came into care at only 4 weeks old together with their brothers. All of them malnourished & sick but have since recovered beautifully.

Felony is the dark tortoiseshell. She is an affectionate, playful, easy going little girl. She loves sneaking under blankets and sleeping right beside her foster mum. Felony is shy meeting new people, but she’s the more confident out of the two.

Spy is the grey (called blue tortoiseshell) little girl. Spy is initially shy and needs a minute longer to trust new people than her sister. But once she knows you, she is the most affectionate little kitten. She is wherever her foster mum is, especially loving to lay beside her on the couch or her desk.

Both girls are excellent litter users, not picky with food (currently enjoying raw patties & kitten biscuits) and: they sleep through the night!

They are fully vaccinated (due next year), desexed, microchipped and up to date on flea/worming.

Welcome Asher 😻
It's unthinkable that no-one came forward to collect this beautiful friendly boy from the pound, no microchip and not Desexed yet very used to a comfortable indoor life.
Safe now in care in Tamworth, Asher is available for adoption, vetwork is booked next week 😻
More details as we learn more about Asher to come.

Sooty has been adopted into a loving home and getting plenty of attention. She has settled in very quickly, purring, smooching up to her new family and coming to them when they call out her name. Tifa, Yuffie and Cloud showed up with no mum in a lady’s backyard and started hanging around. They are all very friendly and are settling well in to care.
They are around 10-12 weeks old and will be ready for adoption once they have had all their vet work done. They are in foster care in the Blacktown area.

Beautiful Pepsi has been adopted and will be joining her sister Fanta who was adopted last week. Pepsi easily one our hearts over in the short time we fostered her. She came into care as a very quiet girl and left as miss chatterbox. Thank you to Tara for giving Pepsi her forever home

These babies were found dumped in a box at a park. A lovely passer by took them in safely before seeking rescue. They are tiny babies around 340g and are approximately 3.5-4 weeks old. They have been flea bathed, full bellies, and are now sound asleep beside the heater and heat pads

MIDGE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Our gorgeous little wobbly girl has found her forever home. Phoebe and Rob both work with additional needs in their careers, so Midge, now known as Willow has found the perfect family. Baby Elise was all smiles, and it was easy to see they will become besties for life.
We hope she brings joy for many years to come.

We just can’t catch a break. Little Lilo is having trouble breathing and gasping for air. This poor little CH kitten can’t catch a break. Georgie has the loudest purr I have ever heard! She will be available for preadoption in a week.

Venice is still looking for her forever indoor home. Once a shy little girl she has blossomed into a friendly young lady! She will seek you out for attention, scratches and cuddles.
