We often get asked about Kibble! We’re anti kibble as there is no nutritional value in kibble for your pets.
Were we always anti kibble? No! We listened to advice from vets and the likes on what’s best for a healthy dog or what kibble we should feed for allergies etc; the truth is do your research and have a look at what’s actually in kibble.
Is that what a dog was born to eat? I don’t think so.
There is a great video on our page which explains kibble and what it does/doesn’t do, if you’re interested and can’t find it let me know and I’ll send you the link.
If you choose to feed kibble with your raw mix that’s okay it’s your dog I won’t try and change your mind if you’re happy doing that. Just please alternate the feed. Example feed kibble in the morning and raw mix at night. Don’t mix the raw and kibble together as this confuses the gut so much more. 🫶🏻🐶

DO NOT FEED RAW FED DOGS LIVER TREATS!
This is your friendly reminder about feeding liver treats, don’t.
If your dog/cat is on a balanced diet which contains liver you shouldn’t be using liver treats, too much liver can be bad for your fury friends.
Hence why we do not stock these for our customers.

Do you feed your best friends a Biologically Appropriate Diet?

Health starts in the gut. Feeding dogs an inappropriate diet will destroy the microbial environment within their gut, which is the community of microorganisms/bacteria that live in the digestive tract and are crucial for digestion and obtaining nutrients from the food they eat. Because of this your dog could experience digestive disorders like inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, or thirst, and are at risk of dehydration and infection. Beyond digestion, an imbalance of gut bacteria influences many aspects of your dog’s overall health. It has been shown to have important roles in developing allergies, diabetes, and even depression and anxiety. Feeding your dog a biologically appropriate raw diet will repair the gut microbiota and return it to its species essential state. This will subsequently improve your dogs overall health and boost their immune system.

We provide a biologically appropriate raw diet. We follow PMR (prey model raw) principles. Dogs are carnivores. They use fat for energy and don’t produce the enzyme needed to digest carbohydrates. Health starts in the gut. If you feed them processed foods (eg. kibble) you destroy the microbial environment in their gut which consequently leads to many health issues and most importantly a compromised immune system. Feeding them a raw diet will ensure the gut stays at its species essential state. A dogs stomach juices is like battery acid and is able to digest raw meat, bones and organs which goes to show this is what they are supposed to eat. The mix we provide contains 80% meat (beef,roo and chicken), 10% bone (chicken) and 10% offal (liver and kidney). We add an omega 3,6 and 9 EFA oil mix containing vitamin E. Cold water fish oil included in the blend of oil provides eicosanoid compounds which have a role in many physiological and metabolic functions, including natural hormone synthesis, anti-inflammatory activity, maintenance of healthy muscle cell wall membranes, as well as skin and coat condition. We also add an immune boosting supplement that contains natural amino acids, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, phytonutrients and bovine colostrum. Our mix is completely balanced and provides a dog with all their nutritional needs and is suitable for all life stages.
It’s $9.00 per kilo and comes in a 10kg box so $90 a box (packaged in 1kg bags for convenience). We make it fresh then freeze it to lock in the goodness.

This is Winston. He’s a 1 year old British Bulldog.

Winston is a social butterfly and can often be found playing with other dogs at the beach or park. He doesn’t mind getting some attention from other humans, either.

Winston has two modes: playing, or sleeping.

He’s a super sweet boy, and I know you’ll love him as much as I did.
