We can't do our job without knowing our stuff, that's why our team members are always refining their product knowledge by regularly taking part in training sessions and online assessments. You might even meet one of our vet nurses, animal rescuers, dog trainers, or horticulturists on your next visit. Many of us have a specialty at Better Pets and Gardens and can't wait to share it with you. OUR STORES
We have six stores across the Perth metro area; Caversham, Kelmscott, Malaga, Midland, Wangara, and Whitfords. OUR SERVICES
If Fido is starting to become a bit on the nose, pop him on a leash and bring him in. Our DIY, fenced dog washes are available 7 days a week and will freshen him up in just 10 minutes. We offer free delivery (conditions apply), so if you can't make it into a store, give us a call and place your order over the phone. Have a crook back or just feeling a bit flat? Let us load those heavy bags of food, mulches, or fertilisers into your car for you, we don’t care about the weather, we just want to make your visit easy. Need your aquarium, pond, pool, or spa water tested. bring in a sample and let us take a look!

This Christmas, Whitfords is proud to support Perth Rescue Angels and Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue through our Paws and Claws Christmas Appeal. With your amazing generosity, we’ve collected over $2000 worth of food, bedding, toys, treats, and accessories for animals in need!

Over the years, our partnership with PRA has helped over 100 cats and kittens find their forever homes through in-store adoptions and events. Together, we’re making a difference—thank you for helping us spread the love this holiday season! ❤️

The gorgeous Gizmo is staying with us at our Malaga store for a bit. She's only just over a year old and clearly an industrious and independent woman as her backstory shows. 👊 She just wandered up to her foster carer's back door one day and invited herself in! Nothing says 'I'm looking for a good home' quite like choosing a rescue agency foster carer hey? 😝 When in her carer's home, she just a happy, good puss who loves to play with the hooman kids or her foster fur-brother. But if they're all busy, she just gets on with occupying herself playing with toys. This ain't no sooky lala gal for sure! Even while she is with us, she's busy testing out the cat furniture and doing her own round of work-outs with climbing and peering out to see who's up for a cuddle. She's sorta like our new QA Officer really. 😂 Gizmo prefers boy cats as friends to girl cats and hasn't spent time with the woofa varieties so staying with us will let her meet a few. If you think Gizmo should be in charge of checking out your place, pop in and say hello. She's very welcoming! 😍 You can learn more about Gizmo by visiting Perth Rescue Angels too.
