Meet my dog of the week - the supersized Labrador.

I thought I knew labradors but then I met Charlie! He changed my perception of a labrador completely. He is a gentle giant, almost the size of a bear!

His pedigree name is DEVINELEA MAN OF STEEL. I can only imagine the power he holds in that body. Becuase he didn't display any of it. He only oozed gentleness.

What a wonderful experience it was to have met and washed Charlie. Thanks for the opportunity, Bev.

My very first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her name is Poppy. She has the softest shiniest coat you can imagine. And the sweetest demeanor. My time with Poppy was such a pleasure. However, as has been happening lately, I forgot to take an 'AFTER' photo and so you miss out on seeing how gorgeous she looked after her bath and blow-drying. It was funny and heart-warming at the same time though, when I noticed that while I was trying to untangle some matted hair behind her ears, she fell asleep with her face resting on the side of the hydro-bath. I so wish I had remembered to take a photo!

Lenny, the Jack Russell. Oh, the feisty one! First time I washed Lenny, he was somewhat agitated. But today, he melted in my arms and let me carry him to the trailer! These are the times I live for. He even let me clip his nails! His mom and dad were pretty happy. Lenny is fast becoming my favorite customer. Have a look at his before and after photos. He is certainly a handsome old boy.

Meet the gentle giant Chilli. The name is a misnomer because he is cool and calm as a cucumber, no chilly heat in him. From his wash photos you can't tell how big he is. He almost looks like a puppy when the washing and drier hoses are going. He looks sad but in the end I did get a high five, albeit a reluctant one. But I bet you he slept very well after his warm fragrant bath.
