Hello everyone!
I had a wondering time away in South America. I have to say a big thank you to Mum and Grace and Caitlin for holding down the fort while I was away. They did a great job and all the horses look happy and fabulous so very grateful for their hard work and care.
A little snippet of a river ride I did in Colombia around Salento. I realised how much I missed the horses and how much of a crazy horse lady I am when I couldn’t wipe the smile of my face from getting on to getting off. Those horses are so tough and could navigate the rocky rivers so well. Horses at home definitely wouldn’t have coped with that 😂

One month to get the horses ready to start competitions for the second half of the year and I will be on the look out for a second show jumper, either an ottb or young horse if you know of any.

Lots of kicking goals recently! I rode my first course of 1.30 at jump club with Converse. I was only aiming to pop around 1.20 but they told me after it was 1.30! Django starting to get his flying changes and Fifi attending her first jump club. Very happy with all my horses 🥰🥰 Dressage and Jumping for the win! 💪
We had lots of fun competing finally at Stonewall, which is an amazing facility I haven’t been to yet. Lots of good bits and lots to learn. Can’t wait for more with my bouncy pony.
Loving the journey with Fifi my 4yo. Not the bravest mare but each outing gets better and better! Today we were at the beautiful Sutton Farm Equestrian Center. I will have to get my act together and get out to a comp soon with her!

Converse and I competed in our first comp on the weekend at the Oaks Sport Horses. It’s been a great few months getting to know him since buying him in December and so doing our first competition was a really exciting moment for me. Our plan was to have a relaxing pop around a small height and after being stressed in the parking lot because of galloping mares and foals I almost went home and saved it for another day! But alas, Converse is a serious competitor and his mind was on the job as soon as we entered the warm up. Turns out doing the homework pays off! I’m so excited about doing more with him as he is so much fun! Looking forward to Hunter Valley Championships next weekend. Rain rain, stay away!
Mimi cross country
Pip and I had so much fun taking Calvin and Mimi out for some cross country today. They both behaved beautifully and didn’t put a foot wrong even though they are both very green cross country horses. Gotta love that straightforward thoroughbred mind! Mimi who features in the video, ridden beautifully by Pip Lawson is currently for sale! Such a fun horse for a teenager or lady wanting to do everything with. If you’re looking for a horse with no spook this horse is definitely it! She is an easy ride with a lovely soft mouth and moves easily off the leg. She is my go to horse on the property when I need a babysitter or just a stress free ride out.
