PETS primarily provides an assistance dog coaching service for people diagnosed with a disability.

We also offer training services for new puppy owners and for companion dog owners wanting help with basic manners or for therapy or visitation dog work.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting gorgeous boy Rusty 😍 Such a cutie pie and clever too!!! I’m looking forward to working with him and his human to set them up with some great foundation skills 💜🐾🐶

Limo had a big day today which included his first public access session at Bunnings 😄🙌 I was super proud of how well he did with every new experience. We are off to a great start with his training and socialisation 🥰💜🐾🐕

The cooler weather today was a welcome change from the last few weeks! We actually enjoyed working outside in the sprinkling rain 🌧️ All the greys had a wonderful day out training with us today and we made some wonderful progress with them all!!! 🤩 Our training goals have been enrichment, lead work, engagement, hand targets, eye contact, marker word charged, name recognition, recall, placement training and socialisation 🙌 So far we are extremely happy and excited about the change seen in the dogs we are working with each week 🥰🐶🐾💜

Today was week three of my puppy course with Vesna, Steve and baby puppy Donatella 🐶 We are having so much fun and little Donatella is learning some wonderful new skills to take with her to her new home 🏡 Can’t wait to hang out again next week!!! 💜🐾🤩

A little update on Limo’s training. We are working on placement training, added in a release cue, getting some good eye contact, getting better at luring into position (following my hand) and also working on a hand target 🎯 👀 He’s continuing to feel more comfortable in our home and has fitted in well to our routine 😊🐾

A great big THANK YOU to the lovely staff at for making us and my assistance dog Rommy feel welcome for lunch yesterday. And for coming to interrupt the patron who wasn’t happy about his pet dogs not being allowed in (and then trying to say they were “service dogs” like mine 🤦‍♀️ 🙄) We were very impressed with the new hotel and the food was great!!! We’ll definitely be back 😄🙌🐶💜🐾
