We are aware of an emerging issue regarding the HomeSafeID microchip registry.
Since April 2017 many cats adopted from Ten Lives have had their microchip registered with HomeSafeID.
HomeSafeID are currently uncontactable. Their microchip database is currently available, however there is uncertainty as to their future.

The summer holidays are a great opportunity for families to welcome a kitty into their family, either permanently by adopting or temporarily by becoming a foster carer.
You can find our kitties currently available for adoption at tenlives.com.au/adopt or register to become a foster carer at tenlives.com.au/foster
There are some truly special moments at Ten Lives that I have been privileged to experience, and this is one of them.
When a good Samaritan brought the beautiful Minty to us, the team quickly discovered she was a lactating mother. After reaching out to the kind folks who rescued her, they began the search for her babies. Almost 48 hours later, they were found and rushed to the shelter. You can see what happens next…
Once Minty was reunited with her babies - Frank, Peanut, Billie, and Moon - they all went into foster care with one of our amazing foster carers until they’re ready for adoption.
You can help by becoming a foster carer for kitties just like these at tenlives.com.au/foster
I’ve been fortunate to be part of Roger’s journey at Ten Lives, helping him adjust to the shelter while he went through his diagnostic process before moving into foster care.
This little guy has truly captured our hearts, and we’re excited about being able to enhance the care we provide for cats like him who need x-rays on their way to adoption.
If you can, please support us to offer on-site x-ray services, making the journey easier for kitties like Roger.

8 New Reasons to Help Today 🐾❤️
Today, we welcomed 8 more precious kittens into the shelter - Kimchi, Wasabi, Tamari, Kewpie, Teriyaki, Gochujang, Szechuan, and Sriracha. These little ones are now in the loving care of our fabulous foster carers, but we need your help to ensure we have the funds ready for emergency after-hours vet care, should they ever need it.
Every donation ensures they have access to life-saving care when it matters most. If you can, please consider donating just $8 at catwalk.tenlives.com.au - even sharing this post can help spread the word and bring us closer to our fundraising goal! ❤️
Say hello to Maisy and her day-old babies Osiris, Athena, Iris and Luffy! Maisy’s bubs coincidentally arrived on Day 1 of our Catwalk Challenge, which aims to raise funds to cover emergency after hours veterinary care for mum’s and bubs just like them who are in a loving home with our fabulous foster carers until they are ready for adoption. Every donation counts. If you can, please consider donating $5 at catwalk.tenlives.com.au and of course it costs nothing to share this post to help support kittens like Osiris, Athena, Iris and Luffy. ❤️
