Now we welcome beautiful Jude! Jude is a rescue American bulldog that is in foster care. He’s bloody gorgeous! We got in some sits and drops and also a bit of kind of loose lead walking 😂 Thankfully he has an amazing foster mum who wants the best life for him and we will work together to give him that. He deserves it.

Koa is working hard and playing hard. We have been having early morning walk and train sessions, been to the cafe, walking with other dogs. He’s learning manners and although this is a work in progress, he is coming along well. He’s using his weight to push around a lot less now and also walking nicely on lead.

Koa is having a little stay with us here.
We did a walk & train to the beach as the sun was coming up where he was expected to do some sit-stays, drop-stays and some loose lead walking.
He did well.
We were also complemented on his manners not jumping on a man that wanted to pat him.
He’s only 10 months old!
I think he was a bit shocked with the 5am get up though!

Koa is having a little stay with us here.
We did a walk & train to the beach as the sun was coming up where he was expected to do some sit-stays, drop-stays and some loose lead walking.
He did well.
We were also complemented on his manners not jumping on a man that wanted to pat him.

Koa is a beautiful bouncy 6 month old retriever pup who is growing BIG and FAST.

We worked on some general manners and obedience and set up some rules.

Koa and mum did amazing although it was a lot for them to take in but they both did amazing!

For those that don’t know, Dottie is also my shop dog.
She is ball obsessed but she knows, no matter what, she is not allowed out the front door of the shop.
We can spend the whole day with the shop door open to let the fresh air in as she meets & greets all the clients coming and going.
She waits for her treat from the postie each day too!
ahhh…..It’s a Dottie dogs life. 😂

I don’t advocate for walking off lead around the street but there have been times that I’ve needed one of my dogs leads to catch and help a loose dog. I know I can trust them and keep them under control with just my voice if necessary. 🐾💚🐾

So today we did some modern manners training with the beautiful Archie.
Archie already knows everything but needs a teeny tiny bit of fine tuning.
He’s jumping on mum, getting over excited about dogs on his walk and just pushing the boundaries at home a little.
He thinks his beautiful looks can get him out of anything. 😂

Koa went home today. He was absolutely exhausted after his little holiday with dogs, cats, rabbits, training sessions, cafe visits, 6am walk and training sessions plus all the manners and obedience we worked on.
