Our Story
Command Dog Training School is an Australian family-owned business, and has been in operation since 1989 Command Dog Training School Instructors are all experienced hands-on trainers, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry, and have trained their own dogs to Advanced and some to Competition levels. This means that as a customer, you can be assured of a qualified industry expert teaching you to understand and train your four legged pal. Our programs are structured, small learning groups, ensuring all participants receive personalised attention and assistance with their dogs. Command Dog Training School is so confident with its service that it guarantees all of its programs. FOUR LOCATIONS: Burwood East; Richmond; Oakleigh ; Albert Park, with evening and weekend classes available.
We offer a range of training solutions, including puppy classes, obedience, problem dog assistance, home dog support and other services. These are available across our primary locations in Melbourne— Burwood East; Richmond (fully indoors); Oakleigh East ; Albert Park, with evening and weekend classes available.
Puppy training
The early days of a dog’s life is some of the most integral in terms of their development. Because of this, we highly recommend owners invest the time and effort towards puppy training. Able to positively influence their overall well-being and help them adjust to becoming a part of their new family, these classes are designed to give both you and your new friend confidence and a special bond. Within these sessions, you’ll learn how to handle, train and shape the behaviour of your pup, as well as give them the chance to socialise with others. These elements are critical and will help to ensure your four-legged friend—and your family—has a smooth and happy life in the future.
