Harrowing manure in paddocks during Summer is more effective and safer for your horse!

โก๏ธ The heat and UV rays in sunlight during Summer accelerates manure breakdown, helping to kill parasite eggs and larvae (e.g. from strongyle worms).
โก๏ธ In contrast, Spring, Autumn and Winterโs cooler, damp conditions, allow parasites to survive for longer in the environment (6-9 months!)
