Here we are, 1st December, and if you haven’t already it’s time to start planning your for your Christmas holidays and the New Year ... but who is going to look after your precious pet? Time to find a pet sitter….

To put a face to a potential pet sitter here we are, working together to provide a service.. myself and a colleague Charlotte. We both live in Zetland and love pets. My specialty is cats, I have 2 a ginger Tom who is a senior cat with special needs and Princess who is the local social butterfly. We both love cat-sitting and Charlotte has a lot of experience with dog walking too.

A couple of tips when searching for the perfect person to take care of your fur baby. A checklist of sorts.

You should definitely ensure your pet sitter can provide:

✅ a recent current police clearance check

✅ professional current liability insurance cover

✅ professional references

And perhaps even ask the pet sitter to provide:

✅ a current first aid certificate

✅ a current drivers licence

✅ a current working with childrens check
