Woof! Summer is finally actually here and it's time for us dogs to have some fun! But with the hot weather, it's important to remember to keep cool. ☀️

My Mum always makes sure I have a bowl of fresh water to drink from, 💧and I love to lay in the cool grass or under a shady tree during the hottest part of the day. 🌳

I also love going for short walks during the cooler parts of the day and taking a dip in the pool or ocean to cool off. 🌊

But it's not just about staying cool, my human also makes sure to check the pavement before taking me for a walk, cause it can get real hot and burn my paws. 🐾

And don't forget to always bring water with you on your walks, it's important to stay hydrated!

So let's make the most out of this summer, but always remember to keep cool!

As the bestest boy, I am always up for a fun adventure with my Mum. And there's no better place to explore than Melbourne in the summer!

First stop - woof-top patios, pubs and bars ! See below for some of our favourites ❤️

1. The Local Taphouse: This cozy spot in St Kilda has a great selection of craft beers, and they welcome dogs on their outdoor patio. I love hanging out here and getting a little bit of attention from the friendly staff and patrons.

2. The Fox Hotel: I can lounge in the sun on the woof-top in Collingwood while my human enjoys a cold one and I can check out new friends.

3. Moon Dog Craft Brewery: This funky brewery in Preston has a dog-friendly beer garden where I can hang out and socialize with other dogs. They also have a special doggy menu with snacks and water.

4. The Royston: This pub has a cozy outdoor courtyard that's perfect for dogs. They even have a special doggy happy hour on Wednesdays, with discounted treats and water bowls for us pups.

No matter where we go, my mum always makes sure to keep an eye on my water and follows any rules that apply. That way, we both have a safe fun time together at these dog-friendly bars in Melbourne. Woof! - Ziggy 🐶
