Puppy Classes run all year round.
All you need to do is book in via Bannockburn Veterinary Clinic (you do not need to be a client of the clinic to attend puppy classes).
Classes run as soon as they are full and we are averaging a new class every two weeks at the moment.
Six Dogs in a class and it runs for six weeks; costing $165.00 (in total).
We cover the basic obedience exercises but add in some tips and tricks along the way. We also include games to keep the learning interesting and fun.
We work with food rewards (just in case you were wondering).

I don't often remember to take pictures or videos of the dogs I train. To be perfectly honest I'm just busy with training. But I got this shot of Mac - the Boston Terrier last night. He's at puppy school Bannockburn Veterinary Clinic and takes his time to eat. He's quite a character - hope he makes you smile.

Training Methods

There are so many methods and concepts in dog training; so the process of finding the right fit for your requirements is a tough choice.

There are a number of trainers out there and they all work in different ways, using different methods from aversive practices all the way to a purely positive or force free approach; with balanced training somewhere in the middle.

I am fluid in my training methods - it is dependent on the dog that I am training. I use what is called a 'balanced' approach which is unique to the dog I am working with but I will always work from a positive training standpoint using less intrusive and minimally aversive tools.
