Mr Chunky - honestly the most solid build thoroughbred I’ve ever encountered.

Spanner is a very solid and muscular thoroughbred and he this looks are deceiving. Instead of a firm approach he needs a gentler and understanding approach combined with physical therapy exercises to help with with his muscle mass. He’s a handsome boy

Whilst as trainers we have a toolkit of knowledge and techniques, but it’s like being a conductor to some extent to find the subtleties in the tune that resonates with the horse and the rider to connect them beautifully like a symphony

New student and fitness instructor, Tammy Rankin, enjoyed working with former racehorse Balciano today. This boy has had a few months holiday since racing and is now learning with us about his new job as a school horse and that it’s fun to be Mr Cool as a Cucumber and working as a team. Being a school horse is not for every horse as they need to be comfortable working with different riders with different riding levels and be able to work alongside the trainer too

One of my customers who is embracing the art of surrender with humility and a willingness to let go of what she learnt before. Not only has this amazing woman undergone transformational personal change physically but she has also been deeply grieving the loss of a beloved companion who was a big part of her life, and yet she comes along every week to learn and re-wire all of the old conditioning and steps through her pain to perfect and achieve what she wants to which is embracing her capability and connection on many levels
