While we eagerly await the release of photos from the 2024 TSPH Clinic Participants Campdraft, we canโt help but feel humbled by the incredible growth of the TSPH Clinic Participants programโespecially the annual campdraftโsince its inception in 2021. Weโll share the albums as soon as theyโre available! What began as a vision to support riders in their journey has flourished into a much-anticipated annual event that continues to grow in scope and impact each year.
The inaugural TSPH Clinic Participants Campdraft was held in December 2021 at the beautiful Koobah Performance Horses. This event marked a turning point for our program, providing a platform for riders who had attended a TSPH Campdraft Clinic to showcase their skills in a supportive and competitive environment.
๐ Beginnerโs Campdraft Champion
Rider: Masie Sherratt
Horse: Pete
Score: An impressive 87 to secure victory in the very first Beginnerโs Campdraft.
๐ Open Campdraft Champion
Rider: Steve Colwell
Horse: Dual Mint
Scores: 90 in round one and 89 in the final, earning a combined total of 179 to clinch the win!
The success of this first campdraft set the foundation for what the TSPH Clinic Participants Campdraft has become todayโa celebration of growth, achievement, and the shared passion for campdrafting.
The 2024 TSPH Clinic Participants Campdraft marked the fourth year of this incredible event and the third time weโve hosted it at AELEC. This year brought exciting milestones, including the introduction of a Jackpot Open, TSPH Progeny Incentive and drafts, over $90,000 in cash and prizes, and support from 60 Corporate Partners. What a journey itโs been!
๐ Beginnerโs Campdraft Champion
Rider: Pip Ireland
Horse: River
Score: Pippa and River showcased their precision and teamwork, earning an impressive score of 88 in the single-round Beginnerโs Campdraft to secure the top spot.
๐ Open Campdraft Champion
Rider: Cameron Dunlop
Horse: Spartacus
Scores: An exceptional 89 in the first round, followed by a solid 86 in the final, with a combined total of 175, they emerged as the champions of the Open Campdraft.
Unlike traditional campdrafts, the TSPH Clinic Participants Campdraft is designed exclusively for riders who have attended a Campdraft Clinic with Neil Faint during the same year. This unique format reflects Neil and Amandaโs dedication to fostering safer, more enjoyable campdrafting experiences while encouraging the sportโs growth.
For seasoned competitors, they also host Maiden, Novice and now Open Jackpot Campdrafts, open to all riders, including clinic participants.
At TSPH, their mission is to guide clinic participants through every stage of their journeyโfrom beginners honing their skills to open-status riders competing at the highest levels. This annual event ensures a level playing field and celebrates progress for all.
