Another iso outing ๐ฆ
It was, according to Mooโฆ
BEST DAY EVER!!๐
She lost her mind when we got to the beach and spent the whole walk in the water ๐

Happy International Dog Day ๐๐
Moo is celebrating by dipping her toes in the lake. Any excuse ๐

Training walk with naughty young Freddy who isโฆ
(a) learning to navigate a long lead and (b) learning to not jump all over Moo on a walk ๐
Heโs making great progress ๐๐

Taking her ball responsibility very seriously โฝ๏ธ๐พโพ๏ธ๐ฅ

So I made a snuffle mat today ๐
What is it you ask? Well you bury treats in it and the dog uses their nose to snuff them out. Adds to their environmental enrichment & mental stimulation which is so important ๐
Moo loved finding the dehydrated chicken bits in it ๐๐

Teaching the โoutโ command through play is an easy and non confrontational way of training ๐พโฝ๏ธ
I teach the โoutโ and โleaveโ commands in a similar way.
These commands are important when you want youโre dog to drop something theyโve picked up that theyโre not meant to have or to move away from something ๐๐
This can apply to food, bones, random things on the footpath whilst out walking etc ๐ฆด๐ญ
Moo has added some new friends to her circle of champion racehorse mates.
Chief De Beers (Group 1 winner and ex police horse) ๐ & 2 x Cox Plate winner Fields of Omagh ๐๐
These boys have been getting more used to me and Moo over the past few weeks and are now more than happy to socialise...and have some licorice ๐
