April 13th & May 11th

A 4 week program for teenage pups ages 3 to 12 months.
These group classes are the perfect follow on from puppy class, for older pups who might have just missed out on puppy school or teen pups and their parents who need a bit of extra help. Teens in Training class is run in an outdoor environment to help teach your pup will learn to focus on you in the presence of other dogs and distractions in a real world environment.
Classes will cover recall, loose lead walking, a base to improve your pup’s obedience skills as well as general life skills.

✨️Sunday morning - 7.30am at Shearwater Spoonbill Reserve in Stirling. Classes are $200.

My constant companion for the last 17 years. I fell in love with this handsome boy when I was in high school, visiting the vet clinic he was up for adoption every day, and until finally, I was allowed to adopt him.

I'll miss your obsessive need to try to suck on my fingers, and your want to go outside even though I'd explained to you the dangers of the Australian Sun on your precious ears & nose.

🐾 END OF AN ERA 🐾

2025 marks some big changes for Walks & Borks with the first being the end of our Dog Adventures. This year, I'll be focusing and expanding on our training and wedding services.
Essentially bye bye dog walking... which for anyone who's followed from the beginning, it was so much more than just pounding the pavement and getting in those steps.

We ran free. In the bush, the mud, the waves.. sometimes up trees. Sniffing everything. Rolling in so much more. Tails wagging and tongues panting. Coming home dirty, tired and oh so happy.

I'm so excited for what the future holds, and it may seem silly... It's just dog walking, Shannon! But they are the reason I started the biz in the first place. So Des and I could explore cool spots with other dogs mates whilst their parents were at work. Seeing dog's confidence grow as they realised there was no pressure on them to be anything but themselves was pure magic.

I have loved every moment of our adventures and can't thank the Dog Squad Parents enough for trusting Kayleigh and I with their best babe's over the past 7 years.

And who knows, maybe one day we'll start exploring again in the Borks Mobile.

But for now, keep your eyes peeled for what's ahead.

Dog training should be fun. Harnessing their urge to sniff and be curious for good will get you a happy and content little mate.

Luckily our dogs learn best when working with us as a team through games and play.

I had one extremely interested audience member on Monday at my talk 'Dogs at weddings AKA the cutest photos you'll ever see" at the Dog West Open Day.

All the speakers were brilliant and it was so great to see so many gorgeous breeds out and about.
