It’s Pet Appreciation Week!

Many of you will know my senior pooch, Foxy, but not many of you would know I recently adopted a second pooch. I’m pleased to welcome Ollie to the family 🥰🩵

Like any new family member, there’s been a bit of adjusting because let’s face it…puppies are in your face 24/7 and annoying 😂😂 but I’m happy to report Foxy and Ollie are getting along very well 😍

Hi Mick

It’s been 12 months today since your passing and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you. I’m honored to tell you that I still have the privilege of being Reggie’s hairstylist and also his fur sister, Lucy. Reggie is doing so well, he’s very happy and above all else well loved and not to mention super spoilt with Dee and her family 🥰🐶

Many of you may not have been introduced to my pooch, Foxy…so here she is! 🥰🐶

We rescued this beautiful girl from the RSPCA back in 2017 and she is the reason why I became familiar with Aussie Pooch, Liz Keeley gave our girl her very first bath and we became regular customers before I joined the franchise family 🛁💆🏻‍♀️

Breed wise, we were told Foxy is an English Foxhound X but quite simply we know our girl is a calm sweet old lady who adores being with her people 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧❤️

Don’t let her sweet face fool you…even though Foxy is considered a senior pooch, she still tears around our backyard doing zoomies while squeaking stuffed toys in her mouth - under supervision of course because another fave past time of hers when left to her own devices is to dig holes under our fence! 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

Today we remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and way of life; both human and animal alike ❤️🐶🐴🐪🕊️

During war times animals were used for certain jobs: the horses, camels, mules, and donkeys used to transport soldiers and equipment, as well as carrier pigeons and tracker dog with their special talents. The purple poppy is worn to remember all those fur and feathered friends who lost their lives alongside our soldiers 💜💜
