🇫🇷 Frenchy cat adoption update..hoping this little video reaches the compassionate couple from France who surrendered him to us before leaving Australian shores 💙
Please know he has now found a wonderful home and has settled in well. He did a quick scan of the house and has chosen a bedroom with a comfy bed to sleep in peace. He will never be a stray cat on the streets again.
Frenchy was discovered hanging around backpacker accommodations. He had no real owners and had been there for years. He had scars (old and new) from being attacked.
Weighing in at 7kgs, he is a big softie and deserved better. Thank you for making a difference 🐾
We know we have a stray cat problem in the Limestone Coast. If everyone had hearts as big as yours and adopted just one, we all could make a difference to forgotten feline souls just trying to survive.

Best suited to calm dogs her size or larger. Recommended no small dogs at this stage.
Good companion nature, doesn't yap and responds well to training 💙

Everyone knows and loves Indi, and knows we have stated her as only dog in the home.
During her stay here at SEAWL, Indi became reactive to all other dogs and could not be around them. We reached out to the amazing Instinctual Canine for help with Indi for a training lesson on her reactivity to dogs.
Indi is a dog who was let out first everyday, and back in last to ensure she did not come in contact or see another dog. After two hours of training, her progress was something that truly took our breath away and melted our hearts.
Indi was able to walk past other dogs with no reactions. She was able to be on a long loose leash that wasn’t held walking around with our testing dog at SEAWL with no issues.
Indi has a long way to go, we will be keeping up with the amazing training Indi (and staff) recieved today from John to help Indi keep this amazing progress going and get her the best loving home she really does deserve.
We are hoping an experienced dog handler will come to adopt Indi and keep up her training. With how far she came in two hours today, there is no telling how far she can still come. She truly thrives off human praise.
Again, a massive thank you to Instinctual Canine for giving Indi and us your time today with a complimentary session. We cannot thank you enough for the help you gave us all.
WAFFLES available for adoption is now 7-8 months old. He has been with us for a couple of months and he would love a home !
This video was taken yesterday. It's the complete opposite of his usual behaviour towards other dogs in the day yards.
Please take the time to understand...away from all the chaos, Waffles is a lovely well mannered young boy.
Paired with a suitable friend (as in the video) in a controlled environment...Waffles is not a problem 🙂 Bookings are essential onsite for meets, we are a small team and all the dogs here need our attention equally. Thanks

Huge milestone for an unowned kitten who was unhandled and unfamiliar with domestic situations. He is doing well since arriving in the cattery from foster care. He is still learning to adjust from Stranger Danger mentality 😅
All they need is time and understanding.
AJ loves chicken meat, spending time with his friends and all his toys. He is an easy kitten.
Come with SHEBA (available for adoption) on an inspection of the night kennels. All the dogs are out enjoying day yard time. The kennels are clean and ready to be used for the night.

Sad update on SIMBA 💘
He crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning. We thank the family who adopted him and welcomed him into their hearts, even though it was only for a very short time.
We are sorry you didnt get to enjoy much time with him. You arrived in his time of need and are true Angels. Much respect to you.
Simba's remaining time on this Earth was limited and he was together with his house mate Shadow. He gave up the fight with his existing medical conditions and was made comfortable. He passed away in his sleep.
Simba came to us as a recent owner surrender, we were not informed by them that he was on borrowed time or supplied with any Vet history or that they had taken him off his medication. Only that he needed a groom..his skinny body was full of matted fur. It was obvious to us he was in God's waiting room and then later it was Vet confirmed...Simba was in final stages of life and dying.
Simba created much interest as a Maine Coon but only one family was brave enough to take him home and accept his circumstances.
Big hearts are needed when times are tough.
He was only 6 years old. RIP Simba 🌈
