When your late afternoon rescue, makeshift nest, and ‘hope I’m doing this right’ doubts pull through successfully … three days on and this lil lark is being fed by his mama and sleeping overnight in his lil pot.

Practising ‘place’. Started out with just the little keeper-girl, successfully added her mama to the mix. Then a huge storm came so we had an impromptu group session 🐶 🐶🐶🐶

Did you know our puppies are raised in our home, as members of our family? They’ve lived in our loungeroom in their white box since they were born and they are used to the comings and goings and general ruckus of a busy family.

They get to spend a large part of the day outside in their grassy pen, accompanied by our resident W***y wagtails, and they’ve got an emergency run in our garage for spacious rainy day play.

Having multiple play spaces and getting puppies used to expected routines, and changes to these routines, helps build resilience and object permanence. Having a set ‘rest’ space and prioritising regular daytime naps (like you would a baby) builds engaged and emotionally and cognitively developed puppies. Resilient, engaged puppies grow into calm and secure dogs, reducing the incidence of canine anxiety and reactivity.

There are still two male puppies left to find homes. Both are gorgeous, with calm temperaments and a natural drive for obedience. They know to sit for pats rather than jump for attention, love a game of tug-o-war, and would really just like to cuddle all day.

Remaining puppies include our lilac tricolour male and our pied tricolour male (see last two pics). Puppies are microchipped, vaccinated, wormed fortnightly, and ready for their fur-ever homes now.

Sundays are for puppy cuddles in the backyard!

All puppies are now vaccinated and microchipped, and all passed their vet health check (as well as their club-mandated checks) with flying colours.

They are sleeping through the night, and are toilet trained to an appropriate level for their age. Training for this will continue until they leave for their fur-ever homes.

Still to find homes are our lilac tri boy and our pied tri boy, and our little survivor, ‘Seal’ (sable boy).

*** Our little sable boy ‘Seal’ has passed his health checks but will be sold on pet papers only due to his size not meeting the club specifications. This little boy was the runt of the litter and needed additional care with feeding; however, he has met all milestones (eyes, walking, running, responsiveness, training) before his littermates. Seal also has a clear health check. Families looking at this puppy will be vetted heavily as he holds a special place in our hearts. [SOLD]

Priced competitively, as we feel puppies do best if they move to their new homes between 8-10 weeks.
