Spring is in the air for these little puppies- what a great time of the year to be packing their bags and getting ready to head out on new adventures with their furever families. We will make sure they get plenty of loving in their last days with us. Live and love well puppies and families ❤️

Last weekend at Rocky Creek for these little babies-they are heading g home next weekend. They are the sweetest, snuggliest babies and are learning more about the World around them everyday. They’ve had a lot of fun playing with little girls this past week who have been loving on them!

Rosie's pups also took a car trip to vist Dr Ryan and Louise for health checks, vaccinations and microchips last Friday. And they also met their furever families on Sunday- Copycats they are! Today Rosie's family came to visit and took Rosie home where she will enjoy retirement. We are extremely proud of Rosie for making 18 families very happy with her 2 litters of beautiful puppies. Thank you to Rosie's family for loving her furever x

It's been a big week for Ember's pups and they are taking it all in their stride. They visited Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital on Friday to have health checks, vaccinations and microchips- they were mostly very brave, but who likes needles?!? Today it was love all round as the puppies met their new furever families- we've got happy, tired puppies tonight! (PS- thank you Jen for the photo prop x)

Epic fail- the photos were taken, but they just didn't post themselves! Hope the happy golden sunshine pics make up for them being late. The pups have been having a ball, they've really grown up this week, loving tucker, loving bouncing and playing with each other and their toys, loving cuddles and attention. They've also been loving Boo, who has been enjoying sleeping with the puppies over the last week, and lining up around the puppy bowl with them! These babies are meeting their families this week and due to a last minute change of circumstances we will have 1 girl available- we will know which one later this week after puppy selections for Rosie's girls has occured.

Hello ouppies! We’ve sprung to life and are as bright as the wattle. We’ve decided food is good, and just as well because Ember is weaning. We are going to meet our furever families next Sunday - can’t wait!

This is the week that Rosie’s puppies have truly come to life- they’ve had their first taste of food and decided it’s delicious! They’ve had a little excursion outside, they’ve had their area expanded and have a pen off their whelping box to play in, they zoom around and then clamber back up into their bed and fall fast asleep. Rosie likes to supervise and visit to feed, but is eager to escape their 9 sets of sharp little teeth- she’s happily transitioning back from being a full on helicopter mumma to her pups to being a free range parent. Of course Boo enjoys having visit time with the puppies too.

It’s always interesting watching smaller litters-they tend to enjoy lounging around and having every need met for a little longer than litters with more pups in them. They are still perfectly content on mother’s milk so we will be coaxing them to eat this week. Ember is perfectly happy snuggling up with her little family.

Hello world! Rosie’s pups are adorably uncoordinated as they wobble around the whelping box. We might offer them some “food” this week- maybe some lamb and rosemary slow cooked! Rosie will be sure to enjoy teaching them table manners and to help them to lick the bowl clean

It’s a slow awakening for Ember’s pups- I think they know that hibernating is the way to go in the middle of winter(showing signs of early intelligence!). Not a squeak to be heard from Ember’s pups, they are warm and cosy and Ember has milk to spare!

Introducing our latest little redhead- Raresilver Ginger Meggs. (Thank you Ginny). With Bosco as his Daddy and Paddy as his Grandpa we expect him to be a large mini in size with all the looks and temperament to boot. We are hoping he will be a little stud muffin when he’s all grown up. Rosie’s puppies are just starting to open their eyes- a couple of the boys just wanted to hold onto that blissful shut out the world space for a little bit longer. Can’t blame them- wouldn’t mind hibernating myself! Rosie is doing a terrific job feeding all her puppies- as quick as we fill her food bowls she empties them and converts the food to the puppies favourite food- 🥛 (MILK)

Ember’s puppies are bright and wide eyed little buttons. Not much activity other than drinking and sleeping but they are not missing a thing. Watch out for them starting to turn into real

So it’s a wet and wintery Sunday- but that doesn’t stop our doods from being the best helpers. Leo, aka RC Lionheart, has been helping Kaylee divide and repot her plants (whether they need it or not)! Please share pics of your doods “helping out”!

Rosie’s puppies have spent their first week in a blissful dream of milk and sleep. We give the pups a bottle feed as needed- Rosie is pretty happy to have some help with feeding- and they take the bottle with gusto. Rosie is eating for 10, she has a very healthy appetite. We will have a girl puppy available in this litter 🩷

Ember has been keeping the home fires blazing- the puppies are growing rapidly with her snuggles and bellies full of warm milk. Good job Ember! 💕

The pups are snuggled up all cosy and warm with Rosie- the puppy rooms are definitely the place to be in the depths of winter. We will be in touch with our waiting list in the next day or so-lots of happy news to come!

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Rosie’s, (RC Royalty), 2nd and retirement litter- a repeat of her gorgeous 2022 litter with Bosco again. Rosie, being the royalty she is, has outdone herself again with 9 bouncing babies- 6 girls and 3 boys. Rosie’s been on the good stuff today- roast chicken in bed, to coax her appetite back after a very long labour.

Ember (RC Rosetta) is as proud as punch to introduce you to her 4 stunning little puppies with Bosco (RC Rhett Butler). Tiny little pumpkin collar boy grew angel wings just after this photo so will be keeping watch over his siblings. All the pups have homes, and please sit tight if you haven’t heard from us yet as we’ve still got Rosie’s awesome 9 also with Bosco to introduce!

Today we celebrate all those who provide care and nurture. Special mention today goes to all our Mummy dogs and the families who take care of them. It’s the first Mother’s Day at Rocky Creek without Bridie, but bet she’s celebrating being young and carefree again with her Mum Crystal, her brothers Bracken, Mojo and Harley and her son Wilbur. Here’s some of our Rocky Creek favourites yesterday. And wasn’t it good of Aurora Australis to put on a celebratory display. Can’t end without a special shout out to all my nurse friends- happy international nurses day ❤️

We are extremely excited and grateful to announce that Nicnak Tic Tac has arrived at Rocky Creek Vineyard Labradoodles. Tic Tac brings some nice bloodlines and a smoochy personality packaged in a gold fleece coat with a black button nose. We hope he will work magic with the smaller girls in our programme in the future. Sending out a huge thankyou to Nicolette at Nicnak Labradoodles! We’ve been very lucky to have 2 Nicnak dogs in our programme in the past- Super stud Ollie, aka Nicnak Prince Charming, and Cusith, aka Nicnak Hetty💜

In breaking news- we’ve just bred for 2 litters due late June to early July. All the pups will be in red, gold and caramel, one litter will be on the small side of medium and the other on the larger side of medium. Here’s the first happy couple- Ember (RC Rosetta from Amber and Alfie) and Bosco (RC Rhett Butler). Bosco will also be the daddy to the other litter (a repeat breeding with Rosie aka RC Royalty)

Where we wished we were today!!
Can’t waste an opportunity for a multigenerational photo as Koru and Holly are visiting. Second from the right is Rocky Creek Molly Bloom, all of 15 and the great great grandmother in the group. To the right is Koru, Rocky Creek Maple Sugar, nearly 13- the great grandma in the group. On the left is Grandma Scarlet at 10 years old, Rocky Creek Maple Scarlet, and second from left is Holly, aka Rocky Creek Maple Syrup who is 2.
Missing from today’s line up is Zoey who is Holly’s Mum and is Rocky Creek Maple Whiskey- next time maybe!
Really it was wet and squally all day so we had photos in the puppy play area which is all undercover - see in comments. But I’d rather be at the beach!

All of Abbey and Ruby’s puppies have made themselves at home and are working their magic. Purple Prince is now known as Ralph and Burgundy Bear is now known as Scout! It’s a whole new world out there.
