Learn To Be A Professional Dog Trainer
2020 Part-Time Dog Trainer Course, Melbourne Australia.
Commencing 15th February 2020
Duration: 12 month course (Part-time)
Alpha Canine Professional, in conjunction with Alpha Dog Training, offers students unique hands-on opportunities to learn Positive-Results Dog Training Methods that can be demonstrated and proven to be effective in the successful training and rehabilitation of problem canine behaviour. This is a course developed by professional dog trainers, for professional dog trainers - we teach only what we can prove to be effective in producing consistent positive outcomes for owners and their dogs.
The hands-on components of the course range from customer communication and assistance, dog handling and training of 150 different dogs and the training of your own dog to a reliable, off-lead demonstration standard.
With two purpose-built, world class facilities students will be exposed to several successful dog training, boarding and doggy day care businesses where the methods taught on course are applied daily with sensational results. Students will also work with professional trainers who have previously completed the course, many of whom also have their own dog training businesses. No other course can offer such a broad access to professional services where students can see the training and rehabilitation in progress and often to the finished, positive outcome.

Last week ALPHA BOARDING KENNELS staff sadly said farewell to one of our trainers who is moving on, and as part of a celebratory luncheon we decided to have a photo shoot with all our staff dogs (lol no photos of any of the humans) and here’s a little footage of the end of the photoshoot. Notice towards the end, one dog is called out by her human, and the rest hold their drop without flinching.

Alpha Boarding School For Dogs: Lunchtime funtime - The trainers at ABSFD often visit the ponies at lunchtime whilst their dogs run and play in the paddocks. Not all the dogs were initially sociable or confident with the ponies and sheep, but through effective training and socialisation strategies they can run free and have heaps of fun together! Another great example of Alpha profesional trainers "Leading By Example" with their own dogs.

We have so much fun in our Perfect Start Puppy Classes. Meet Louie the 10 Wk old Cavoodle. He's already learned to sit, step away and mind his manners. He's also so very very cute, that we decided to film him in between exercises because he made us laugh so much.
We run these 2 free introductory classes on Saturday mornings at The Alpha Canine Centre for pups 9wks or older who have had their 1st vaccination.
If you or someone you know is getting a puppy for X-mas then why not spoil a puppy with these classes? We teach obedience under distraction, good behaviour shaping, tonal conditioning, leadership, manners, socialisation and toilet training- and as you can see we have a great time!
Perfect Start Puppy Classes are free and for everyone- even non members. So share or tag someone getting a puppy. They resume Saturday 13th January. Bookings are essential.
