Another eventful pet check day today....the storms stayed away but the snakes were out today!
One of my sweet doggies I checked on today likes to play with these slithery guys...so when I saw one at her home this afternoon I knew I needed to get her out of there while I contacted her owners to get permission to get the snake catcher out...it was a decent sized brown snake 🐍 big thanks to Toowoomba Snake Catcher - Snappy Snake Catcher - Toowoomba and Darling Downs who came straight out to check this out for me to ensure doggy stayed safe...

That was a hectic couple of pet check days thanks to some crazy storms in Kingsthorpe ...
From beimg stuck out on 4ak Rd due to fallen power lines to picking up clients pot plants that had been thrown all over the place to rebuilding fencing that had been knocked down to ensure pets were safe from rising water....I've been drenched most of the last 48hrs!
Happy to report though that all pets are safe and well....let's see what tomorrow's expected storm brings us....😆
Lots of happy faces despite the weather though...
I will spend most of my Christmas day caring for your pets and ensuring they are safe again after the storms......

A little about my pet care service....

My boy Max was a rescue dog, he was so special and was my reason to change careers 10years ago to now work at a veterinary clinic. Max went to rainbow bridge 3years ago now and although I have not got another dog to love and care for, I have started my pet care gig in his honour to help owners be able to go away and know their pets will be loved and cared for , as this was something I struggled to be able to do as my Max didn't cope when I had to go away. I build a relationship with the pets I care for and they become so special to me, I don't have hundreds of clients, instead a small amount of wonderful pets I develop a special bond with so when I care for them their owners are able to leave them knowing that they will be happy and cared for .

Before any pet is cared for by me I come to their home to meet owners and pets to ensure all needs are discussed and pets can meet me before hand to feel comfortable and for owners to see how their pet will interact with me, I only accept pets who are properly cared for and that I can safely interact with. This no obligation meet and greet before any bookings are so owners can also be comfortable and happy with me and the care I offer as well.

I currently only work half a day a week at a vet clinic so that I can be available the rest of the time to care for my special clients whenever needed. I have now been caring for others pets for 18months now and some of their owners have left reviews about the care I offer so you can see what I am all about.
