The photo below is the 2018 litter between Ammo (semen imported from the USA) and the beautiful Nitro. This litter produced 1 x Best In Speciality show winner, 3 x Australian Champions and 1 x New Zealand Champion.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any stories. Some of you may have been following, 12 months ago I found new homes for Nitro, Potts and Morbius ( now known as Jack )
YES, it’s hard rehoming dogs you’ve bred, raised as pups and owned them into adulthood but when you find those perfect homes, it becomes a weight lifted off your shoulders knowing they are in the best of hands.
This is Jack, he is Callisto’s full litter brother and father to Peridot. Jack is loved and adored by his owners Fay and Greg and I can not thank them enough for inviting Jack into their home.
As you can see, Jack has his own spot in the car and travels with them all over the place in their caravan ❤️❤️❤️

We attended the American Staffordshire Terrier Club of QLD Double Championship Shows and Open Show on the weekend and all I can say is, I am so proud of the girls.
Comic was awarded 🔥BEST IN SHOW🔥under Mr Antonio Oliveira of Brazil and now will be known as
⚡️BISS RUBISS AUST CH AmstarFX Marvel In The Making (AI) DNA⚡️
🦋 Her daughter Peridot won all 3 PUPPY IN SHOWs on offer and RESERVE BITCH CHALLENGE under Mrs Cindy Vogels of the USA
⭐️ Callisto won 2 INTERMEDIATE IN SHOWs and RESERVE BITCH CHALLENGE at the Open Show under Ms Louise Marsden of Queensland.
💥 Not to forget the beautiful Nitro who is owned and loved by Petra & Rob, attended the 2 Championship Shows and won 2 NEUTER IN SHOWs.
A huge thank you goes out to Karen and Suzie for all of your hard work and dedication in keeping the shows going. It was a wonderful weekend with great prizes and ribbons on offer.
Congratulations to everybody who attended the shows and to those who sponsored classes, without your support there would be no shows. It was great catching up with you all again. Thanks Belinda & Tamara for jumping on the end of the leads.

AmstarFX is a boutique kennel that is dedicated to preserving and breeding the American Staffordshire Terrier to the AKC (American Kennel Club) breed standard. We have been involved in showing and breeding Amstaffs for 20+ years. We pride ourselves on the quality we produce. When breeding, we look at every aspect – Breed standard, type, temperament, soundness, health, pedigrees and pedigree combinations.
We are not backyard breeders, we do not do this for the money, we are lucky to have 1 litter per year and we do not support people out there who are breeding away from the breed standard to supply the pet market (Example: For colour or size)
Breeding quality dogs is not a fluke, it’s an art, it’s a passion, it takes time and it takes a great deal of dedication. I have been lucky enough to have been mentored by some of the most renowned Amstaff breeders in the world.
All dogs in our breeding programs are health tested with a full breed DNA profile. They will also need to pass strict criteria’s before they will be considered as breeding potential. We have frozen semen from dogs in the USA and Europe bringing in new bloodlines into Australia.
We have been very successful in the conformation ring having produced Best In Speciality Show winners, Grand Champion as well as many Best In Group and Class In Show winners. We have exported numerous puppies to New Zealand where they have gained Platinum and Gold Championship titles.
We breed mainly for ourselves and occasionally have puppies available to suitable pet homes. All puppies are registered with Dogs Queensland and come with pedigree papers. Freight is easily arranged to any state in Australia or Internationally.
