My Story
My name is Caitlin, and I have done previous pet sitting and dog walking services, and I am a verified pet sitter through a site called MadPaws, with numerous reviews (link in description). I have decided to make a professional page to expand my client network, and to help more people in need of reliable and trustworthy pet services, even at short notice. I am very accommodating towards your requests, and I offer a free meet & greet before you leave for your trip or obligations, to make sure I am the best fit for you and your pets needs.
I am currently a part-time Murdoch University student and looking for something to fill in my days when not studying, which is why I choose pet sitting because of my adoration for animals. I am passionate about conservation efforts and have always had a caring nature towards animals of all kinds including pets. I have experience with walking and caring for dogs, gained through my work at K9.
I would thoroughly enjoy looking after and taking care of your pet like my own. I have a Certificate II in Animal Studies, which incorporated walking dogs, washing and grooming (brushing). Additionally, I learnt how to train via a treat based reward system while walking the dogs (to train them not to pull on the lead). I also acquired basic first aid training for domestic pets (primarily dogs) which included bandaging skills, heart rate pulse checks and basic CPR. Within this Cert II was responsible for various breeds of dogs from Toy Poodles, working dogs to Bernese mountain dogs. In addition to this Animal Studies Certificate, I have obtained work experience at the K9 Rescue Centre in Mandurah walking the dogs and also caring for them with cleaning and daily feeding routines and by giving them, love. Furthermore, I have experience with reptiles and birds from my volunteer experience with the Mandurah Wildlife Rescue and the Peel Zoo. I am a very caring person, and my passion has always been with animals, so your pet will always be left feeling very happy, and well looked after!!
