I must say Im super excited about our small line up of exceptional jumping bred foals due this season!

We dont breed many but we do breed quality and have a very high strike rate of youngsters going on to do great things!

Thank you to all our clients over the years for partnering with our amazing athletes and taking them to all corners of the globe to compete at the highest level! We are loving the journey and its truly incredible seeing them on the podiums in so many countries around the world! ❤️

Its also wonderful seeing the influence we have had on showjumping (and eventing) here in Australia - both through what we have bred ourselves and also through the first class progeny now competing by the stallions Cera Cassiago and Cera Charisma.

Anyone remember this beauty?! This is the stunning Cera Casilla as a foal. 😍

With the technical tracks we have in showjumping today, one of the biggest differences between a good rider and a great rider is good and correct foundation/flatwork (and horse power 😉)

Wise words below borrowed from Elsa Berggren 👌

4 things I learnt from working with different 160 riders around the world that I will always bring with me…

* Your hand can move forward, sideways & upwards but if you pull backwards you ride the horse backwards. (You also shut down their engine and their jump)

* Ride with one hand or hold the reins in a "bridge" is the most effective method to prevent an unsteady contact. (This is useful in all disciplines)

* If you cannot do all your proper flatwork (transitions, collection, lateral movements) in a light seat you're probably using your seat to push the horse forward instead of making sure the horse is in front of the leg. (Again true in all disciplines)

After all flatwork, which starts with ground work, and manners on the ground is how you communicate with your horse whilst jumping a track. Give it some thought.

Another top young horse by L.B. Crumble, Charismas older brother. This is Camilla van de Helle jumping in Valkenswaard last weekend! How easy does she make it look. 🦄🚀
Crumble is also sire of Olympic eventer Caspian 15!

Charismas progeny are also really special, we are very excited for the future! Its so wonderful to see the influence from our incredible mare Valenzia all over the world in top sport! 👌❤️

Interesting to see the results of the first round of Dressage at the Olympics. Mare power! The top 3 are all mares. This is particularly interesting when the field is made up of only 10 mares, 20 stallions and 31 geldings. 51 males and 10 females.
Nothing beats a top mare when you have her on your side!

Sneak peek - Diva Cera Z 🦄
Here she is as a baby 3yo. Shes now an absolutely stunning 4 yo mare for top sport. This mare is a real athlete. Superb conformation, type & movement, very correct in every way. She could win a Garryowen! 😍

Beautiful soft jump with plenty of power off the ground and gives a great feel from very limited jumps! She is just a breaker - we only weaned her foal in May and she came back from being professionally started in June!!

Im a bit late posting but its so amazing to see another star we bred doing so well overseas now!
Aaron Hadlow made the move to europe earlier this year and has already had a taste of victory winning the 2* 1.45m at Peelbergen in the Netherlands aboard Di & Justin Wilkinsons talented mare Cera Stiletto!
Well done Aaron, what a great feeling to be on top of the podium ahead of so many top names at your first international show! All the best for the rest of your campaign! 🏆🦄🍾🥂

She is by the ANGLO ARABIAN 😳😳 1.55m international jumper Bonaparte N who is already sire of 1.60m showjumpers and 4* eventers! 🤔 Did you know he placed 2nd in the prestigious Hamburg Derby!!
Has she gone mad you ask? Not quite! 🤣 My last post mentioned breeding is thinking in generations and it really is. The last time I went to europe the showjumpers in the ring that really caught my eye with their blood, modern types, carefulness and jump had a TB or Anglo dam sire!!! 🤔
Bonnie was bred not to go into sport, although she certainly could! 😍👌She is bred to be a producer of top sport horses for the future! ❤️❤️ From a super damline of RIDEABLE top 1.60m jumpers!! Her mum is full sister to 1.55m jumper and licensed stallion L.B. Crumble. 🦄 Her brother Cera Quantero jumps 1.40m in North America!
With that necessary blood, both thoroughbred and arabian, to refine, add toughness, stamina, strength, courage, speed, soundness and of course to outcross. We know that we can breed the most perfect jumpers (or even eventers) from this special young mare. Bonnie has already proven herself being the mum of “Perfect Peter” who is by the young PSI sensation Chaccothage Blue PS (Chacco Blue x Conthargos x Armitage). He has the looks, the movement and the brain, along with the genetics. His canter is so good we know hes going to be a top jumper as well. We are incredibly excited about the future with this young mare in our small & special broodmare band and look forward to seeing Bonnies progeny out and about in the future!! ❤️ Definitely watch out for her foals! 🤩

Did you know breeding is thinking in generations…
This special guy is the result of 17 years of planning and I must say Im over the moon with him! I begged and pleaded for 3 years to secure his great grandmother in Belgium many years ago. He is line bred, or IN**ED 😱😱😱 to the outstanding Holstein mare Option through her son Coriano, and daughters Kimberley III (grandmother of Diarado), and Valeska IV (mother of Corofino I, II). He carries s*x balanced line breeding to some of the best jumping progenitors of all time Quidam de Revel (3 x 3) and Corrado I (4 x 4 x 4 x 4).
Diamant de Semilly, Heartbreaker and Carthago (4 x 5) round off this incredible pedigree. He is not just good on paper, he is very good in real life!!! 😃 His family has more than four generations of successful 1.60m horses (lots of them!) so when jumping is breeding I think his future in sport is pretty bright! Frankly I cannot tell you how excited I am to see him in sport in the future. His brain 👌 his breeding 👌He is going to be one very competitive jumper in the right hands.

This made my heart melt! ❤️ Those of you who have followed us for a while might recognise him! This is Jenga who came into the world 7 weeks early at 290 days gestation. He defied all the odds!! That was 5 years ago!!!! What a legend he is!!

He is full brother to Cera Casallo (Leah Causer NZ) and half sister to our very special mare Cera Quintera, who is also a black beauty! 🖤

Special Conthargos x Diaron x Numero Uno filly foal!
This filly is 4th generation Cera bred from a very good imported Holsteiner dam line!
Sire Conthargos, now deceased (semen is $6k!) is a remarkable producer of top showjumpers!! Dam sire Diaron is one of only 2 horses to ever win the German Bundes Championship twice!
I could write an essay on how well bred this filly is but you only have to look at her to see the quality!

Here is a nice baby we bred, Cera Cassius (Casall x Clearway) having its first outing on the weekend. He is only 4 this month. Jess Kiernan asked us to breed a full sibling to her former competition horse and here is the result. 👌🦄

Congratulations to Ally Lamb and her recently acquired Cera Ducati (Diamant de Semilly x Askari) who won the Antares Future Stars at Boneo on the weekend!!! Wes Joyce has done a lovely job producing Ducati and we are very excited for this new partnership! They are off to a very good start!
