The need for functional, economical, easy to erect and aesthetically pleasing animal shelters was recognised by Jonno, the business owner. As a result of this recognition several versions of shelters were designed and built for various locally properties leading to the ultimate Horse Shelter designs which are now available. During this process the designs were refined to be simpler to build and ea

sy to ship anywhere in Australia. Today Horse Shelters Australia have four shelter and two stable options available, each design is based on a modular construction and incorporates 50mm thick sleepers to line all walls as well as a sloped roof and attractive mini-flute sheeting on each module.

The feedback speaks for itself! Our horse shelters are simple to construct even for the amateur home builder - this is the guiding principle behind our product.

At Horse Shelters Australia, we have developed a simple system including an innovative approach to footings. Our process includes;

➡️ Assemble each of the wall panels
➡️ Stand up the panels and check that it is square
➡️ Mark and dig your footing holes
➡️ Insert the sleepers into each wall panel
➡️ Attach the footing brackets and fill the footing holes with concrete
➡️ Screw on the roof sheets

Our record to build a shelter is a little under 3 hours (we have built a few!), while it may take you a little longer for your first shelter, 2 people should be able to build most of our shelters (with the exception of the double stable) in a day!
