Went like ** oh we here... awesome. Yum grass.. say hi to horses, oh mum growled... eat grass.... oh hi Ben ... excitement 🎉.. hose off... eating grass... still eating.. wait mum cant go yet, still more grass to eat, oh you have a fresh hay net? ok we go home.

At Widgee Campdraft today, she help Hamilton Judge the Maiden and as per usual she took it all in her stride as though she'd done it 100 times before.

This pair had an amazing weekend Campdrafting and barrel racing.... But this photo represents a memory she will have forever!
Both of them had their first official Campdraft run at Cots Camp on the weekend, in the DustyButts Junior campdraft.
We are so so proud of them!
Dakota rode really well and Dixie was just a perfect mare listening and looking after her little friend.
Huge Thank you to everyone involved at COT'S CAMP, all the people who helped & encouraged them and DUSTYBUTTS for sponsoring this important event. That smile hasn't left her face. Her sash, new cap & prize money has been shown to everyone!

Generations of breeding (my parents started) is a lot of work... But watching your 6 yr old daughter work a beast on a mare that hasnt had years of training to do it, brings us sooo much Joy.
