Getting her first pair of trendy shoes on. No need for someone to hold her, Such a sweet filly, like her daddy Jet (cant half tell by looking at her😂)

After Lacey-Ann rode her, I said she needed to give her a good groom.
Looked out later to see this. Apparently her foot was dirty and easier to clean if its on the bucket. She does have a point 😂

God is Good
Nice run last night to win the Novice. Had another run shortly after in the open to be just out of placings. Super happy with her.
As she gets fitter, her 2nd run will be better especially when the Novice is right befothe open.

Yesterday we went to ride and Tanami was lame, so someone asked to ride Poppy... but by myself please mum.
My brain said heck no, not by herself! (Poppy has serious power - not a 'kids pony' type of mare, I love her but also love my kids 🤣)
My heart looked at her face and said, see how she goes.
We walk down the arena, I say go around that barrel - I ment walk around it and come back to me. Lacey-Ann sets of in a trot and does a barrel course, pulls up giggling (you know that cheeky one kids get) gives Poppy a hug, sits up and says, 'I'd better have another go, so you can video for Ma and June' 😂

Now im kicking myself... lost my horse!
But my heart is busting with 'see I told you so!'
🥰Them good horses just know🥰

Tanami Country... What I'd do to have just one more run.
These photos were taken many years ago at Gympie Rodeo. Clinton headed and heeled on her that day.
Head, Heel, Haze, turn a barrel, turn a beast...in the arena & in the bush... she just did it all.
Although we are soo thankful for the care she now takes of Lacey-Ann ❤️.... But I miss having her to back into the box.

Our girls were playing out in the arena late yesterday whilst we doctored a horse. Its quite the obstacle course they have set up 😊 Now to move everything back to work horses 😂
