To all people concerned regarding our rabbits in the front room of our clinic. As most of you who know us well, we would never mistreat our rabbits.

We are truly disheartened to read about your experience and perception of our rabbit care. Ensuring the well being and happiness of our rabbits is our utmost priority, and we take all feedback seriously.

We want to assure you that our team is dedicated to providing a loving and nurturing environment for all our animals including the rabbits that you saw. We have stringent protocols in place for their care, including regular health check-ups, ample food, water, and enrichment activities.

"Bear" was recently posted here looking for a new home. He had some enquiries however hasn't found his perfect match. His current family are unable to keep him for much longer so we'd love to find him his people ASAP rather than him go to a foster home - but if we can't find the right home this is unavoidable.

Bear is a 6 month old Staffy mix.
Desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated.
House trained, basic obedience, very friendly.
Has not lived with cats so would need careful introduction by an experienced person.
Is strong and playful (26 kgs) so not suited to a home with small children.

Just an update for our rabbit owning clients- our Rabvet pellets are back in stock in 1.5 and 1kg bags, pop in and grab some between 8am and 6pm weekdays. We also now stock small bales of good quality rabbit hay for $16.50

Bear's mum says -
I would like to rehome Bear. Bear is a six month old desexed male staffy mix, born 17 01 23.
He is fully vaccinated, and dogs and people socialised.
He is friendly with people and other dogs. Crate trained, toilet trained and travels well in car.
Bear is professionally trained with one on one obedience training and knows how to sit, come, wait, heel (knows back when pulling), and free and marker word are yes for positive reinforcement and reward. Bear isn't a barker, and other than a few small holes, dug in lawn is not destructive.

Bear is a strong confident loving energic dog that loves to be with you. He loves walks, the beach and the park.

Bear needs someone who can love him and be as energetic as him. Though kid friendly best to be homed with adult or older teenage children as he is still learning his strength and sees kids as playmates.

Beautiful puppies 😍. We will have some gorgeous Border Collie puppies listed on Petrescue in a few weeks (available at 8 weeks of age after desexing ). They will also be microchipped and vaccinated.

Please keep in mind Border Collies have a thick double coat and require ongoing grooming as well as socialising and training.
