Today we are with our puppy raisers hanging out. Hopefully I will be going out in the community somewhere!

Hello Sunday,
We will be at our Puppy raisers sometime today after travelling down to Sydney with our family.
Pappy Raisers are very important to the Guide Dogs program. They take us in and they look after us as well as train us for 2 years. Puppy Raisers are volunteers and do it for love.
If it wasn’t for these raisers there wouldn’t be any guide dogs.

They do a marvellous job and should be recognised more.
I hope everyone had a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Happy Saturday,
Not long to go now & Keith and I will be going back home for a holiday. We will be travelling down to Sydney with my family in the car.
I will be going back home to my puppy raisers. I was raised At Glossodia, this is a place that was donated to Guide Dogs. It has been Guide dogs home for a few years.

Happy Friday!
It is the end of the week & it could be happy hour for some people.
I love my puppycinos which I get at Bunnings when I go with Keith.
As well as that, the best part of the day is when I have my dinner. I look forward to getting my dinner in the afternoons.
I have 2 cups of fish and potato’s by black hawk, as well as that I often get a few carrots throughout the day along with Keith.
When I get fed, Keith also gets a treat as when he hears food he gets excited and we all rush to the kitchen.

Hello Everyone,
There is 20 days left until Christmas🎄
This time last year I (Tate) I was settling in with my dad. I had just arrived and was in training. I stayed at a motel in Maitland for a week so I could hang out with my dad and build a connection. It is very important for us Guide Dogs to make that connection over the first few days, as I had been moved around a lot when I was growing up.
I have made a lovely home in Maitland and I have 2 furry friends that I live with, Grace is the boss of the house and yard. Grace is a female cross Kelpie farm dog & I often play chases around the backyard with her. As well as that I hang out with my uncle Keith, Keith is my mature retired guide dog. We often hang out in the house and play chases in the backyard.

I hope everyone has a lovely week, not long now and I will be going to Sydney. Ian has my holiday planned.

Hello Friends,
21 days left until Christmas! 🎄
Yesterday was International Disability Day and my dad and I (Tate) went to Cessnock PCYC. PCYC Cessnock

It is an amazing facility, it has indoor skateboarding, basketball, gym and great for the community. Yesterday they lit the Olympic Torch for the Special Olympics (Winter Olympics).
It was a great day and very well organised.
Dennis (a friend from Maitlan Greens) took us up & was very supportive. I love when he brings me a carrot!🥕

Today is International Disability Day, it is a day to recognise people with disabilities. Keep in mind your carers, who do a lot for participants and their families. As well as that the NDIS has changed people's lives.
