Arabian Mau Cats, Australia The Arabian Mau is a pure breed cat of the Arabian Peninsula. We have brought them to Australia. They can also be striped as a tabby featuring spots.

They have survived in the desert in this region for centuries and have only recently been recognized as a distinct breed. The Arabian Mau's principal colour is pure white but they can be pure black, and white with black patches. They may also be ginger and white - but only males of the breed can be ginger or ginger and white. They are affectionate and playful and like to 'talk'. They are very loya

l and highly intelligent. and have a strength and hardiness characteristic of a desert cat. Because of the environment where they have evolved, they can have big ears and big paws (suitable on sand) and hardy bodies. They are often delighted by water :)
