Jason’s beautiful Mum Lynette passed away on Anzac Day morning. Thank you to our amazing clients who were flexible when we headed to N.S.W to see her one last time the week before and next week. The gorgeous Meika certainly enjoyed her deshed bath with Jason who is one of her favourite people. Meika was starting to loose her summer coat around her back legs and leaving it all over her Mum’s wood floors. So her Mum booked her in for a deshed bath and was very happy with the end result of how shiney her coat was and she was free of all that fur coming out.

“Dogs would be banned from much of Port Noarlunga Beach – but allowed on Christies Beach at all times during daylight savings – under a proposal from Onkaparinga Council to tighten dog restrictions.”

Sorry we have been quiet on the socials the last 2 weeks. It is so important to check your dog for any new lumps or changes in any lumps and Jason will always tell you finds anything on your dog. We have been keeping an eye on a fatty lump/skin tag on our girl Cupcakes over the last 6 months with regular vet checks and on Australia Day we noticed the feel in it had changed. It was now a Mast Cell Cancer and she went in to have it removed along with her other fatty lump and the last 2 weeks have been making sure she has healed and didn’t pull out any of her stitches. By us checking her constantly every week we were lucky to catch it before it got to her lymph nodes. So please check your dogs and seek vet treatment if you notice changes or if you are concerned about anything.

Please be aware and vigilant of the local City of Onkaparinga using rat baits along the esplanades and for the containers being smashed and rat bait easily consumed by your dogs. This was shared on a local Labrador page tonight and lucky Ollie’s Mum was onto this so quick and got him to the vet for treatment before long term damage or death could happen. His Mum wanted the news of this spread so no other dog & their owner has to go through this.

Jason will get down on his hands and knees if that is required for your dog to be happy during their bath & blow dry. This gorgeous boy is our 14yr old Chocolate Labrador Fudge and he still loves his bath but the drying is a little more difficult for him these days. He is happy when he feels supported so this is why he is near the corner supported by the cupboards.
